We stayed three nights this past July, in the Navio suite--it is clean, quiet, well-appointed, with amazing beach access. We kayaked, snorkeled, swam, hunted for sea glass; all just steps from our door! The best part about Ababor Suites, though, is Wanda, who was absolutely available to us at all times. She was helpful and generous way beyond what was...

My 13-year-old son and I stayed at Ababor Suites for a week. We really couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Being on the beach was terrific--was a nice place to take walks in the morning or evening and was a great place for my son to do a little fishing. Note that we didn't actually swim in the...

We choose to stay at Ababor for the location, location, location. This place is literally on the beach. As planner of our trip, the only request my boyfriend has was for me to pick a place that was on the beach. I did good. We stayed in the Navio room which was very spacious. Everything was clean and cozy. Wanda,...

Spent a week at Ababor Suites with my teen-aged daughter. Ideal place to get away, relax, and spend quality time together. Wanda is terrific - the first morning, the coffee maker did not work, and Wanda had a new one for me within an hour. The unit (Caracas) was extremely clean and tidy, and very cozy and comfortable as opposed...

this is a good place to stay if you know the island and can be independent. we saw the innkeeper once in a five day stay. we called a couple of times with questions, and never got a call back. for example, a lightbulb burned out, and it was never replaced.

Had a great time at ababor suits. Stayed in the navio suite. Clean and neat. The beach is right outside your place. Very laid back. Easy to get to anywhere on the island if you have a rental jeep. We rented from Vieque's Car Rental. He was very informative and helpful. Kids loved the free kayaks outside our door and there...

If you're truly serious about going someplace quiet, restful, on a beach, and with more horses and roosters than people within a mile radius - this is the place. You're at least a mile from anywhere you can buy so much as a soda, candy bar, or anything else. But, you can get to town in 15 minutes, or clear...

Ababor Suites is 200 ft from a quiet sandy beach with an unobstructed view of the Carribean [not counting palm trees] whose only visitors are wild horses and beachcombers. Rent a car [from Ababor] to get everywhere - many many beaches, restaurants, grocery markets, and the wilds of Vieques. Stay at Ababor and be away- have a car and be...

Walk out the door and you're on the beach. You can barbecue in the seaside gazebo and watch the wild horses make their morning visit. We loved falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean. Wanda has thought of everything including free kayaks, coolers, beach chairs--even hammocks! Our suite (Navio) was well-equipped, very clean and comfortable. Vieques is not the...

Perfect place to stay with family, especially if you are looking for peace and quiet. Suite was about 25 steps from the ocean, and it was very clean! Definitely not resort-like, which was perfect! If you plan to stay here, rent a car in advance, and bring some spare towels, both bath and beach. You only get one set for...
