One of the most breathtaking places I've ever visited, hands down. Oreanda is the ideal place to calm home base when exploring all the wonders of Vieques. It's exceptional private - you literally cannot see another building from the property, and the view is EXPANSIVE. The pool area is ideal for chilling, and a little adventure through the forest will... More

What more is there to say beyond what has already been written? I guess I can simply verify that there are plenty of reasons this property is rated so highly. The property itself is amazing. With its crystal blue pool overlooking a lush ravine and forever views to the ocean (even nicer than the pictures indicate), we spent a good... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay at Oreanda for 5 nights and our only regrets are that we didn't stay longer! First off: Tyler is THE MAN. He walked us through where to go and what to see on the island over beers by the pool and it was more like we were having a conversation with... More

You really can't ask for more. After a night storming the fort in Old San Juan, we hopped on a ten seat Cessna to fly to Vieques. Tyler, a charming Texan ex-pat, picked us up at the airport. Driving the narrow horse pocked roads with his great humor and local knowledge, we instantly knew this would be an extraordinary trip.... More

I recently had the luxury to stay at Oreanda. The property is immaculate. Tyler, the property's fearless local leader, is like a Jiminy Cricket that reminds you that vacation runs on wavelengths unavailable from your 9 to 5 office cubicle. There is access to black sand volcanic beach from a short hike originating on the property. Beautiful pool with a... More

Oreanda is a must if you are coming to VQS. We rented the main house, which has two bedrooms, a living room, full kitchen, and back porch. There is also a pool and large grilling area. The property feels very private with only one or two other houses within view. What you can see are beautiful, uninhabited hills that cascade... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Oreanda during our Thanksgiving holiday and we had an awesome time. Tyler picked us up from the ferry took us to our rental car and gave us a run down of the island. He was extremely accommodating and helpful. The property itself was all we could have asked for. The view, the pool, everything... More

My second time staying at Oreanda was as pleasant as the first. It perfectly matches the island and serves as a logical launching spot to explore. We rented the entire property and recommend to any group 6-10. It offered privacy, pool, harmonic nature sounds, stellar views, nice acoustics (trsb), sweet grill / cook out area w a hammock, and much... More

What can I say? This place is perfect. We stayed in the main house, the view from the pool is as good as it looks. The location is perfect, 2 minutes away from Esperanza, which is the part of the island with great restaurants, a great island feel, basically exactly what you would want if you are looking for an... We stayed in Casita Verde for 3 nights; pool was nice, gardens were pretty; forest sounds enjoyable. Nice view and good airport pickup service and help with recommendations and reservations for activities.

“Don't complain about the wildlife, it is part of the experience. Casita Azul has a great view of the ocean, Verde does not. The main house is the bomb. You won't find air conditioning anywhere, but didn't need it.”

“Casita Verde is closer to the driveway and pool than Azul, but is a bit smaller and does not have an outdoor shower. Take advantage of the deck and outdoor kitchen. The night sounds of the jungle are pretty loud at first. Don't worry. It won't take long 'til you don't even notice.”
