It’s a shame because hotel was nice and good location. In the 2 nights I was there over $3000 was attempted on my credit card. Thankfully Jet Blue contacted me. Spoke to the manager, Ms. Colon who was not accommodating. She denied any fraudulent activity when I had dates and times from Jet Blue on charges from hotel! Terrible way to treat a customer when someone on their staff took full advantage of my credit! Shame on Marriott for hiring someone who doesn’t try to accommodate the customer for their own actions. I will never ever stay here again and have written to Marriott headquarters expressing my dissatisfaction. If you choose this hotel I’m warning you to keep careful watch on all credit transactions!!!

I had a great 21st birthday your staff Uray, Angel and Cesar definitely made it a birthday to remember. The two bartenders were a great help in letting me know what places to go and things to do. While Cesar taught me how to play many different table games at your casino. Definitely will be returning soon.

O stars would be more appropriate. First and foremost, check-in should never take nearly an hour. When I finally got to the reception lady she apologized and mentioned that it was only her second week there (I've worked hospitality jobs before, you NEVER say this, it's extremely unprofessional, at least PRETEND like you know what you're doing!). When I got up to my room I immediately noticed a foul odor, upon inspecting the area I noticed that the garbage bin from the previous guest was full to the top and had food waste in it, smelling up the room. It gets worse, my sheets had dried blood on them, and my towels which were folded and locked clean had dirty dark marks all over them. Couldn't believe the place could not get the towels and sheets clean at a bare minimum. Another thing that bugged me about this place, you have to REQUEST for your room to be cleaned, they don't just clean each room each day automatically like every other place. When I called the front desk to get them to clean, I did not anticipate that I would have to follow-up on my request again 3 hours later, and then a third time another hour later. This level of service is reprehensible for the amount of money I paid to stay there. I went for a bachelor party with 11 other people and we collectively probably spent over 10 grand there, it was not worth it at all. A majority of their staff are poorly trained in hospitality or are socially awkward as many did not return greetings when encountered in the common areas. When I travel I fully expect to get dirty looks from the locals, but not from the staff of the place I am staying at. The only person who actually tried to help us out was the manager Virna Flores, she is the only one I have good things to say about, everyone else there needs to be retrained. There is no lifeguard on duty at La Concha and the water conditions are labeled with a red flag as "extremely dangerous". The beach chair attendant told me he does about 8-10 rescues a year as many people get swept out into the sea where the tide hits the rocks. The drinks and food are extremely overpriced at the resort, $16 for a cocktail when you can just go across the street and buy the entire bottle for $20. The hotel said that masks were required in the common areas however only about 50% of people were actually wearing them, I didn't wear one anywhere throughout the duration of my stay because I have a medical exemption and am immune to pseudoscientific propaganda, however the inconsistent enforcement of this policy annoyed me because on the very last day before I was going to check out the security started giving me issues. I told Virna to let the supervisor know not to bother me for this due to my medical exemption. They told me the day before my check out that due to my inconvenience they were going to waive the additional hotel fee on top of my booking. When I went to check out, this all of a sudden became reduced to "just a $100 credit" instead of waived in full. Why tell me one thing and do another? I am appalled at how poor my experience was here for the amount of money spent. I will never visit this hotel let alone this island again. The health department needs to come and shut this place down asap, no hotel should ever leave sheets with dried blood and dirty towels in a room before a new guest checks in.

We chose La Concha after searching resorts online for it's location and amenities. We requested an ocean front room, on a high floor, close to the elevators and they did not disappoint. The room was spacious and clean. The view was beautiful. The facility was wonderful, and also clean, and followed CDC guidelines making it feel safe. The staff were polite and friendly. There were a few areas of improvement we could note. There was a very long wait for check in; we were never approached on the beach by a server for drinks/etc., causing us to have have to walk up to Solera each time; we could not reach the front desk by phone when calling from the room; and my only complaint about the room was the hot water in the shower was inconsistent. These are minor issues and we had had fantastic time. We would definitely return.

Loved the location. Very convenient to food and bars. I've read complaints about check in being to long. I check in soon a we arrived. Got here 3 hours before check in and my room was ready. I've read about no housekeeping, we've had our room cleaned everyday. Nice bar area a little pricey but that's to be expected. Will try the casino tonight. Would definitely stay here again. Beach is nice in itself. Water not so much..
