I planned to stay at this hotel in october, and then the Hurricane Maria went by Puerto Rico and the Hotel administration took my money but never returned it.
Please return my money, be fair. Kind regards, Humberto Soto

This is one of the best examples of fancy dining in San Juan. Menu based on Spanish cuisine with local and international influences. Service is excellent. Food and wine prices are high. Excellent for a celebration or a fancy date. Caution: reservations are needed and the opening

Very nice hotel close to the nightlife in Old San Juan. The staff was very nice and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood. Within walking distance of El Morro. And if you don't have too much luggage you can walk to the cruise port.

Does anybody know if this hotel will be open by early April? We have reservations prior to a cruise and I need to make alternative reservations if this hotel won't be open. Thanks!
I was there on Christmas Day 2017. The hotel is closed. Permanently. No signs on the door. Nothing.

Does anyone know if this hotel is open for business since the hurricane? We have this booked but haven’t been able to contact them by phone or e-mail. We are starting to get nervous.
I’m thinking they are not open primarily because there are only two reviews on trip advisor following my stay on 17Sept which was three days prior to the hurricane. I also note no bookings being offered by the usual travel sites. You might want to arrange another place to stay. There seem to be availability at other Old San Juan hotels. Best of luck.

is Cervantes having issues after the storm. will be there end of december. need so kind of info
I have no idea, we went in July prior to the storm. I work w someone that is from PR and all of her family is currently there. About 60% of the island now has power but it was devastatingly impacted from the hurricane. I would check w the hotel directly prior to going.

We have reservations in January and we have not been able to contact the hotel. We are trying to determine if the hotel is still in business. Has anyone heard anything??
I’m sorry for the late response. The island is just now starting to regain power in certain sections. I would def try reaching out to them prior to planning a trip there. They were devastatingly impacted by the storm, only about 60% of the island has power, some sections still do not.

Is there any information regarding this hotel after the hurricane? I’ve called and emailed but I think the phone and internet is still down. Is the hotel still open for business? I will be there in December. Best of luck to all of Puerto Rico!
UNFORTUNATELY, I have not heard from anyone in San Juan.. I would cancel this trip for now, cause I have family members saying it looks like a war zone...
