The Atlantic beach hotel is not only the dirtiest hotel I've stayed in but it's also screaming gay pride. I have nothing against gay people, however my idea of a romantic vacation with my fiancée is not to be surrounded by flamboyant gay men in...More
Depends on your requirements... This is not like those American type hotels with no expenses spared, droves of luxury accommodations and endless perks [like free parking, restaurant discounts, etc]. If you require these things, you will not enjoy this hotel. This hotel is a simple...More

Hotel first, no luck then call the credit card call company and tell them about the situation, if you made reservations through Expedia/or other website, call as soon as possible. Throw as big of a fit if killing them with kindness doesn't work. Cheaper hotels, you should never expect much, but take a chance, some of the most expensive hotels (5 stars) we have stayed in were dumps and had wonderful reviews. We have had the best times at the nastiest hotels/ hostels all over the world, with rotten reviews. Go with the travel Gods and drink lots of rum to numb your sorrows if you are stuck there and it is TRULY a horrible experience, make the best out of it.
