The Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino garners acclaim for its spotless accommodations and well-kept amenities such as the pool and gym. Guests enjoy the modern atmosphere, with activities like poolside salsa drawing positive attention. Despite praise for the friendly staff, some visitors cite slow service as a detraction. The hotel's vicinity to key attractions is generally appreciated, although noise can be a concern for rooms in less favorable locations. While the resort's high costs have led to some dissatisfaction regarding value, the diverse amenities, including a praised shuttle service, contribute to its appeal.

As a business traveller I like this hotel. It is very close to the airport, about ten minutes. So it is fast and cheap to travel between them, and Uber cars are plentiful until very late at night. It has five elevators, which is more than enough for this property. They all work and move at a good pace. Never waited for one even during the morning check-out rush. The rooms are modern, with plenty of plugs and USB charging outlets all over them. The desk is spacious. The bedding is standard Marriott, which I find very good. The pool and deck are very nice and easy to get to and use if you find the time. The walk to the Convention Center is truly short as well. Just across the street. The only drawback are the hotel restaurants. The menus are a little niche for dinner, and there isn't much for lunch. They have nice spaces but aren't very busy. BUT, there are a lot of options across the street at Distrito T-Mobile. It sounds and looks like an overly commercial mess at first glance, and is sometimes crawling with fanny-pack wearing mainland tourists in Crocs, but inside is a good mix of quick food, locallly influenced fare, and fine dining. No passport needed to enter Puerto Rico, American money is the currency, a good experience.

Stayed at this property while attending an event.
It is a very busy property in one of the busiest areas of San Juan.
The property is exceptional in most aspects. Despite being busy the lobby always had space to move around. The pool area is also very ample and well designed and even on a busy weekend you didn’t feel overwhelmed.
It has plenty of restaurant choices, probably helped by the casino for all budgets and tastes.
The rooms was nice with plenty of space. It is lacking a sofa or a chair to seat, beyond the desk chair provided.
The beds and pillows are good.
The bathroom is also very functional despite the hated sliding door.
It is lacking a microwave in the room and the coffee maker is old-style.
The reason why I do not provide full marks is the service. A simple request to extend checkout for one hour was expeditiously rejected, something never happened to me in a Marriott property l, specially being a top-tier frequent traveler.
Also, we had to ask for the room to be cleaned. I know there is a policy in place in some hotels that room cleaning is not explicitly included but if that’s the case here, I wasn’t told.
Finally, there was an mixed up on the reservation payment and it took two days to figure it out.
No issues with the hotel but definitely service needs a bit of an overhaul.

Very good hotel, good location and very good facilities. The staff is welcoming and very professional.
The cleaning lady forgot to clean the room despite several reminders and the manager offered us a coupon as compensation, this is rare and very appreciable.
I only regret the fact that the breakfast room was too small to accommodate all the hotel residents and that we had to register on the waiting list and wait 25 minutes.
I recommend !

As a Marriott Titanium member, I’ve stayed at this hotel 10 times a year over the past four years. Let me tell you what you can now expect from the Sheraton Conference Center for $330 a night, which includes a ridiculous $45 resort fee…

1. No more executive lounge (that disappeared several years ago right after COVID, never to return.

2. A pool area under construction.

3. A complimentary crappy local beer or mixed drink with well liquor.

4. Construction workers banging around outside your room building a new hotel wing.

I’m done staying here, and if your a business traveler like me, or simply looking for a nice vacation spot - find another hotel.

First time that I return to a hotel room late in the evening and I find that the room was never made. We contacted the front desk to report it and their answer was a simple " we sorry for the inconvenience " and offered to send fresh towels. When my husband told them that there were still service people arranging other rooms they did not offer to come and clean our room. Definitely giving preference to future guests than the ones already at the hotel. I never expected such a poor customer service from a Sheraton hotel that charges so much for the stay. I don't think I will return to that hotel

Beatiful hotel. Comfortable and clean.
BUT…
Management really needs to speak with the housekeeping department, they are very loud banging doors at 8 AM in the morning yelling from one room to the other about the basketball game last night.

Completely unprofessional.

On the front of the house, you use an inside voice, remember rule 1. Of hospitality.

I just want to say that the staff at this hotel is so friendly. They go beyond hospitality. It was my husband birthday and they sent a personal note with a basket for his speedy recovery. I am so grateful that my family and friends were guest here. The moment you walk in to the hotel in old san juan you are taken care of. The room is always cleaned and you are at the center of everything convenient stores, restaurants and the salt pool is on the rooftop. Amazing!! Keep up the good work mi gente!

We chose this hotel based on price and reviews, knowing we were not in old town where we would pick up our cruise ship. What we didn't know then was that the hotel has a shuttle that runs twice an hour into the closest beach (which was also a long walking distance) and into Old Town. We were given an end room with a large balcony overlooking the harbor (including cruise ships!) and ocean in the distance - fantastic!! I believe this was a Bonvoy upgrade, but if you will spend any time in your room with morning coffee or evening cocktails, it's well worth it! This room also had a separate living room and huge bathroom with 2 sinks. Maybe a tad dated in finishes, but well done at the time and well maintained. The pool area was also fantastic, with plenty of lounges and towels, infinity pool with a decent view, and bar/food service. Inexpensive Ubers into restaurants/bars and the cruise terminal. Breakfast buffet was great, as was the Bonvoy option for breakfast. The Bonvoy lounge was bare - coffee and sodas all day; wine only at happy hour. Huge parking lot attached. Staff very helpful and friendly. Having been here before, we felt like the one afternoon in Old San Juan was more than enough, but it's easy enough to take the shuttle if you want to see some sights, too.

Stayed for 4 nights on a work trip and found the hotel a great choice because of the location to everything and condition of the property as a whole. My room was very clean and well appointed with a wonderful view. Only had a few things from in room dining but heard the restaurant was very good. The staff is what made the hotel tops in my review. Everyone was very professional, welcoming and friendly.

I want to give a shout out to Thailys Ponce at the front desk. She was very helpful in providing recommendation and overall super helpful. Definitely recommend staying here.

I am titanium elite with BonVoy. Check in was quick and easy and they acknowledged my elite status. I had requested to use my Suite night upgrades to upgrade to a suite. There were suites available for the length of my stay up until the day I checked in. They could have upgraded me 5 days before my stay but they would not. They did give me a room with a view of the bay but no upgrades.

The club lounge was not open, not even to go in and get a coffee or coke and they used covid as an excuse. I selected the complimentary breakfast as my welcome gift but they forgot to give me my breakfast cards and I spent an hour later trying to get these cards so that I could get our complementary breakfast.
As a BonVoy elite I am very disappointed when the Club lounge is not open. It is one of the benefits that I have earned by being loyal to Marriott and I feel like they use covid as an excuse to keep it closed and not recognize my loyalty.

The hotel is nice and the staff were great. They room was clean, and not too small. The bathroom needs a total remodel but it was clean. The bed was old and hard to sleep on. They have notices in the elevator that they are planning to remodel all the rooms and it really needs it.

The little cafe where they have breakfast was nice and the staff was great. They took really good care of us every morning.

The pool area was also very nice and clean with a large hot tub/spa and great pool.

They have valet parking but there were always people standing there waiting for a car so I used the self parking for $18 per day. It is right there at the hotel so it was easy and not a long walk to self park.

We were there for 5 days and the room was only cleaned and made up one time. However there were always housekeeping staff in the hall and they would take our old towels and give us new ones and they were very nice to work with.

There is an Aloft hotel and a whole entertainment district in the same block as the hotel so there were lots of options for meals and entertainment. It is a very nice area and caters well to tourists. There was even live music most nights. Old San Juan is just a short drive and it was easy for us to get on highways from the hotel.

I would stay here again, even without getting an upgrade.

Why does it say All Inclusive? Then the comments say it is not AI. Is it directly on the beach?

Just to be sure, this is the hotel next to the conversation center near a small private airport. We stayed there for three nights before a cruise. We are Marriott Elite members. As such, we got a breakfast credit and depending on what we ate it was all or partly covered. As for all inclusive. No, it wasn't. Drinks and other food was extra. Great pool area. Got a $10 casino credit but we are not gamblers. Nice shuttle to Old San Juan which is great to walk around and have food, drinks, touring and shopping. They also will take you to a beach but the weather wasn't good so we didn't go. Have fun, hope this helps. About 29 minutes to main airport.
