Basic rooms, clean, with a friendly family atmosphere. Come here if you like the sounds of the jungle at night, tree frogs, lizards, and crickets. Come here if you want to try some locally made banana Fritters for breakfast. Come here if you want to get a feel for real Jamaica and have a walk into Drapers for a burger... More

First trip to Jamaica and we were picked up from Kingston international Airport by our Hostess Sheila Rose of the Valhalla Guesthouse. The place overlooks the coast of Portland. Spectacular view of one of the coves and the fresh breeze just made our morning. Fruit bearing trees including the Ackee, avocado and coconut surrounds this bed and breakfast. Our breakfast... More

Stayed 2 nights. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Used Geejam's beach next door one pm and drove to Winifred beach the following day. Francesca and family were welcoming to my wife and mum-in-law and the fish run-down Orlando cooked up was exquisite. Having our own car helped getting to Winifred and Boston beaches but route taxis stop outside.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the friendly Drapers San Guest House. After travelling around Jamaica it was great to stay at this guest house. It's in a great location with bars and places to eat close by. Also close to a choice of beaches - if you're feeling lazy grab a route taxi for $150 Jamaican dollars - about... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Drapers San. Carla and the staff were friendly and helpful, Kwasi's cooking was delicious, and the guest house is in a great "get away from it all" location. I enjoyed staying in a small village away from the tourist trail -- there was a great "Vinyl night" at one local bar. It's easy to... More

We were disappointed by this guest house. It is NOT near a beach- the nearest is a miles walk away along a busy road. The room was very basic but we did have the worst one I think. The water ran out and we were told this was a usual problem in the area, but we had plentiful water in... More

Dear Sirs i was reading with great disappointment your report. And I felt that your info were not truthful. First of all Drapers San has Sanku Bay beach at 200 m from its entrance and Frenchamns Cove beach is at 600m which means 10 minutes walking Secondly breakfast is abundant, same as dinner is Breakfast, menu is composed of 3... We were there for one week and stayed in the Rasta Cottage. We liked Carla, Francesca and the rest of the staff. Were very informative and gave us some tips. Was fun to meet travelers from different countries. It has a good porch and view, but for the money the room and esp. the bathroom needs some fixing up. I... More

Our family of 4 found Drapers San guest house adorable and delicious for the 2 nights we spent there. Keke made local cuisine for dinner at a very reasonable rate served family style. Shanae was friendly and provided a light fruit and baked goods breakfast with great coffee. Keke was able to line up surfing lessons for my sons at... More

I spent one night at the place and everything was good! It´s a guest house for travellers! I rented a private room with private rest room, the water was hot and the room was clean. The place was confortable, simple and it was located near Blue Lagoon and Boston Bay. I tried breackfast and dinner and both were great! The... More

Drapers San felt like a tropical retreat. Our room was clean and had an ocean view. Almost no water pressure in the shower, but the super friendly and helpful staff (Shene and Keke) made our stay enjoyable. Fresh fruit for breakfast was delicious.
