Me and my girlfriend stayed at Banana Shout for 4 days and it was just what we were looking for. Beautiful sea, spacious, clean and quite room, incredible view (even better than Rick's Cafe), really friendly staff and Milo is just an amazing host.
This is not beach front, this is cliff front... Then the beautiful ocean! I'd say the beach is a 3-5 minute taxi ride or you could walk. We went to a bar on the beach. Not sure how swim-able that area is though... More

There's no meal plans here. You can purchase a "breakfast plan". Which is toast and juice. Other than that you're on your own! There's a fridge, 2 burner stove and utensils in your room. There's also a community kitchen with everything you need. There's plenty of places to buy food near by.
