Amazing location straight onto the beautiful sandy beach so we were happy. My two grown up sons and I spent a week there over New Year and had a wonderful time making the most of the weather, sea and great choice of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. We had two spacious rooms, both with bathrooms, and our own... More

I had dinner here three times and breakfast once. The atmosphere was clean and relaxed. The restaurant is on the beach with a picket fence creating a visual barrier between the dining area and the beach traffic. There are table cloths and flowers on the tables. There is a separate area for smokers. The “Complete Breakfast” is listed at $10... More

WIFI unreliable and only possible from the restaurant, but only poor signal. The manager/owner should talk nicely to her staff, maybe a management course would help a lot.... and maybe a technical minded person could help a lot. Staff was very sweet - but was not allowed to help us. No hot water in our room, and they did nothing... More

Stayed here for 2 nights over new years. I'm a frequent goer to Jamaica but first time in Negril and nothing was available due to last minute booking. Cons: -was practically impossible to sleep: overhead and floor fan were noisey, plus an extraordinarily loud dehumidifier. No AC in our room -bed sheets were disgusting, thank God we brought our own... More

We happened upon a room at Mariposa by chance as Negril was almost completely booked out with an event happening the week we stayed. The compact property is right on the strip which makes it extremely convenient, being close to almost all the dining and entertainment options without the extravagant price that comes from staying in some of the other... This hotel is -0 The hotel was not as shown online. Upon arrival the beds, pillows and sheet covers were stained and filthy, bugs on sheets, hole in curtain, bathroom was molding with old used cup, lamps was rusted and the place had the worst odor. We tried to make the best of it but after returning to our room... More

This hotel is falling own around you. The rooms include stained, ripped and disgusting linens. The amenities including safe, air conditioning and wifi do not work. It smells of rotting garbage on the grounds. We looked for a budget deal and we got a less than acceptable accommodation. The management of this hotel is horrid. Do yourself a favor, don't... More

The location was perfect.... The rooms were clean and had a mini fridge. We never had any problems with bugs the AC or hot water. The grounds were kept clean. Wifi worked if you were close to the lobby or restaurant. They have a safe in your room for a charge. We felt very safe at all times. Only complaint... More
