We love Zoetry Montego Bay and are always treated wonderfully!   The Covid protocols at this resort and in Jamaica are top notch.  We feel safer here than at home! I have seen in my opinion some unfair reviews on here and really  have to wonder what resort they stayed at.....this is definitely not what we have ever experienced!  We were greeted and welcomed by Nadia Brown the new GM along with her dedicated staff- thank you for the warm welcome.  Nadia is seen daily in the resort checking on guests to ensure everyone is great! Kevin provided a friendly seamless efficient check in/check out as usual. He is always there for you if needed. Kyle escorted us to our room perfectly with our baggage asking if we needed anything for our room. (Ie: water). You have to remember things have changed for some things due to covid protocols. Vacationers need to be flexible. We were grateful to be here with these friendly sweet resort staff members who spoil and take care of you.  They want you to have the best vacation!  We have not found this consistently in any other resort or country!! If you take the time to connect with them you will see everyone is genuine and friendly! We too are UVC members and Arleen is the best.  That said, upgrades are given upon arrival IF there is availability.  This was noted on my reservation confirmation paperwork and is also mentioned in our contract as well. If you want or need a specific room category you should book the one you need or want.  That way there is no disappointment.  We enjoyed the snorkelling trip provided by the hotel-thank you Denford and Romano for taking us out on the boat! Take advantage of the yoga with Garrison -we aren’t very flexible but he modified things so us beginners could participate. Thank you Denrick for setting up our chairs at the pool each and every day. Thank you Dwayne and Teana for ensuring that we had everything we needed regarding beverage and food -so greatly appreciated.   To our awesome Bar staff thank you George, Barbara, Melissa, and Carl for your mixology skills!  Awesome! Nice to see you again Dario.  You are delivering room service with a smile.  We don’t eat in our room but enjoyed seeing and catching up with you.  Thanks for making some of our coffees at coco cafe. Thank you Crystal for your service at the pool! All hostesses at the restaurants were very friendly and welcoming -sanitizing tables before and after your meal service.  Thanks to our restaurant servers: Julia, Eleo, Althea, Stacy, Christine, and so many others -I feel bad for not remembering all your names.... I need an employee list please!   Name tags would be helpful for my brain so I remember each and every one of your names! Thank you Chef Nordian, Trevina, Lyndon, Ricardo, Tikka, Christine, Rueben and the so many others that are working behind the scenes to give us wonderful culinary experiences! Jerky Joes is wonderful and we enjoyed it when open.  Jerk chicken on the BBQ Grill is so delicious and gives a real Jamaican feel. Thank you to the housekeeping staff Nordia for keeping our room sanitized and clean.  Thank you for the laundry services-we didn’t run out of clothes! Thank you Teslan and Dwight for keeping all public washrooms and Public spaces clean and spotless. Even the maintenance staff is great here-nice to see you again Squire and everyone! There are so many people I know I am missing and I’m sorry for that but once you step on property you will feel the love of these wonderful caring individuals. We always say we can go anywhere to find tropical weather, luxury and nice resorts but we just can’t match the vibe, love, or service this resort has to offer! We were glad to be here and enjoyed being with you all! Countries rules and regulations are changing daily in regards to returning to your home country. Things actually changed while we were in Jamaica and Arleen along with Nadia helped us to get the testing that we required in the time frame we needed so we could board the plane.  We needed a specific test to return home. (this was an additional cost but wasn’t too bad). THANK YOU for arranging and taking that stress off us so we could enjoy our vacation! Finally a shout out to Justin at the front desk for helping me sort out some returning paperwork I needed on our last day. I LOVED this resort!! I wasn’t sure I would like the boutique-style, but WOW I was wrong. Firstly, the staff was INCREDIBLE! I was immediately greeted by the resort manager Nadia, where she introduced me to the entire team. They were so attentive and made me feel like I was a Queen! Everyone knew me by name and all of my preferences. They made sure that I had everything I needed at all times, without being overbearing. The lush grounds at this beachfront sanctuary were stunning!! The Ocean Front Suites were literally breathtaking!! All you could hear were the Ocean Waves and the Palm Trees. It was SO relaxing and peaceful. The beach was on the smaller side, but I had it all to myself so it felt very secluded! The CUISINE was superb!! They also offered a unique assortment of organic juice and food options. Covid Testing on-site was a breeze! 49 Suites 24/7 Room Service Complimentary Daily Laundry Service Top Shelf Drinks Definitely, one of my new favorite resorts! I am a travel professional so I am used to service being sometimes different when I step on the property. For this reason I usually don't write reviews because if the property knows that I am in the industry then quiet naturally my treatment will be different. Well. I have been back for about two weeks from staying at Zoetry and I just cannot avoid writing this review. I could tell that the customer service provided was genuine. I am starting to love boutique properties and Zoetry did not disappoint. When we arrived to the property our temperatures were checked at the gate while in our transportation. Hand sanitizer was provided and we were greeted with the warmest welcome from the staff. Tanille and the other gentlemen at the front desk were so attentive to all of our needs the entire time. Dwyane at the bar made sure his signature drink was ready for us upon our return from long days of excursions. The drivers at the property drove us to Negril and spent the entire day with us! We were not rushed at all. We left at 10a and stayed out til around 8p. I am now planning to return to this resort with a group of my clients. This is how pleased I was with the service. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience.

The other reviews are not the same experience that my wife and I had by any means. When we arrived to the resort around 2pm before our massage we went to the jerk shack for some lunch but they were out of the jerk chicken and my wife doesn't eat pork so no food for her. Our first night was Valentine's day and they closed down one of the restaurants for a special that you had to pay for which was a few hundred dollars. We opted out and went to the main restaurant which only had 3 entrees listed on the menu: duck, pork, salmon. My wife doesn't eat any of those items so when we asked the waiter what else he could do it seemed like such a bother for the chef to just grill up a chicken breast or piece of steak - she was given chicken. Each night one of the three restaurants are closed and the menu's are extremely limited. When we were laying outside of our room - all we smelt was weed which was extremely disgusting. The "beach" area is extremely small so just be prepared for that as well. I would not recommend staying at this resort and I would look for other options.

We needed a girlfriend getaway so I went with one of my best friends Renia  (R&R). The check-in process was smooth sailing, thanks to Rene. We were early so we went straight to the pool bar, where we met Carl and Crystal, two phenomenal and hard working people. they were always smiling . Kudos to Crystal who introduced us to the drink 'PainKiller'( got to have). The room was breathtaking, we had a junior suite. But most of the joy was outside. The pool was awesome, the beach not so great. The hotel grounds were well kept, manicured lawns and beautiful fauna around. The lobby area had real Orchids, beautiful. The resort  was super clean and follows all the necessary protocols for COVID safety! Everything hygienically packaged, body products up to the remote control. All the protocols were observed. Dwayne at the coffee bar....he is awesome!!!!!!!! The macaroons were awesome too, the pastry chef at the resort , big shout out to you. I have to add, I am really bad with names, but you made me laugh when you knew making that zoetry coffee was not your forte, lol. What was great was that he observed what was done, watch out Dwayne, lol. The food, OMG!!!!!. The resort was phenomenal. The Jerk area was awesome too, I am a pork lover, it wasn't dried out it was juicy and it tasted awesome. On saturday  night was Jamaica night, buffet style, curried goat, oxtail, rice and peas , steamed veg(the best i ever had) corn......Julie, and the other servers were great at the restaurant. they went above and beyond to ensure that we never had any issues and the same for breakfast. the live band that performed, sang some wonderful songs,  and danced up a storm. I have been to resorts, but i must say the entire staff  there is awesome, friendly and polite. Great people , impeccable.  if your name was not mentioned do not feel bad, i am bad with name...i give you all a 100%.
