We stayed for a night at this beautiful place with the most lovely staff. Thank you all at Forres Park for your great hospitality! The cottages fit perfectly in this remote natural environment with all different kind of flowers and fruit trees. You sit on your balcony and have a spectacular view! The guide Buddy took us on a wonderful... More

Nice resort in an ideal location to access the Blue Mountains peak. They have a local coffee plantation to visit. Service is really friendly. Food was good as well (breakfast and dinners, as well as takeaway lunch during the hike). We had a huge room but they did not have blinds, which helped waking up very early for our activities.... The main attractions of Forres Park are the mountain scenery, the simplicity of the hotel and Yasmin and her team. After bumping up the road from Kingston in our little hired Yaris, we were relieved to be welcomed by Yasmin who immediately made us feel at home (fellow Londoners?). As it was low season and we were the only visitors,... More

The location is amazing, in the middle of the Blue Mountain forest. Shanique and Shirley really welcomed us and spoiled us with wonderful Jamaican dishes. We also tried the spa with a full body massage, maybe a bit rude but after the hike to the peak it's been wonderful! There's only a small village close to the Hotel so basically... More

We also found the people at Forres Park to be very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is basic but the rooms were clean and comfortable and there was always plenty of immediate hot water in the bathroom. Food and service was also good if "rustic". We went for the Birdwatching and seeing the wonderful Streamer and Vervain Hummingbirds right there... More

I gave it poor mainly because it is extremely overpriced for the standard. i agree with everyone that the service is very good and staff are friendly. However purely based on price its is not good value very basic rooms and food that was very expensive. Whilst I am not necessarily looking for luxury in this kind of setting which... More

We stayed at Forres Park for two nights in November. It is not fancy but it offers everything you need - comfortable bed, clean bathroom, great food in an open-air dining area. We like to go bird watching, and the area around Forres Park is very good for that. Colin is an excellent birding guide, and he is often available... More

We stayed in Forres Park for two nights. The room is totally overprized for what you get. As well be prepared to pay five US Dollars for a cup of coffee (just plain coffee, made at the very same coffee farm)! The location is nice, we did not feel disturbed by the road as there is hardly any traffic at... More

Highly recommended for those who like to travel a bit differently........ My husband and I (in our thirties) spend 4 days in Mavis Bank in the Blue mountain. We did not walk up to the peak and watch the beautiful view, instead we enjoyed mingling with the kind people of Mavis Bank! We were welcomed with open arms and a... More

The place is not paradise. The cabins are as indicated - very simple. Just one naked lamp on the ceiling in the room as well as in the bathroom. Beds are comfortable. The cabin is clean. But thats about all thats positive. There was no warm water for a shower in the morning. When we arrived de were told that... More
