We stayed at the Bavaro July 4th week and they were working in sections of Punta Cana and Bavaro. They have the areas they are working on blocked off. I'm not sure if the room we stayed in was one of the updated ones or not but our room was magnificent. It was very large w/ a large bathroom and jetted tub.
