I visited this location for about an hour. I was with family who wanted to stop by and say hi to the owners. My family has stayed here before and loved it. The view is amazing. The rooms are cute. A mosquito net is a must. The road leading here is very bumpy.

This afternoon a friend took me for an afternoon drive through the hills outside Puerto Plata and as we were driving through the higher elevation hills we stopped at Tubagua Plantation Eco Village which is owned and operated Tim Hall. I have seen pictures of the view from where it is located but seeing the view in person showing the...

We stayed last weekend and it was quite an amazing experience: being in touch with nature, staying at a lovely "casita" with basic things covered, enjoying delicious food, extra attentive staff and breathtaking views!! It was 100% worth!

We had a great time. Great views, food and hospitality. Tania was wonderful and attentive and always super helpful. It's a close hike to waterfalls and they help you plan your excursions. I would definitely return. Thanks Tim and Tania!

The views are breathtaking. I sit up in bed and look out my open wall to the mountains and ocean. The grounds are spectacular. We were traveling in DR for over 2 weeks before arriving here, and Tanya's dinner was the best, by far, we've eaten since arriving in the country. The eggs, banana pancakes, fresh fruit and more in...

Rustic "cabins" with comfy beds that overlook the valley and the coast. Tim welcomes you and treats you so well. He arranged all our transportation and meals and even a long adventurous hike with Juanin! Our second visit and definitely won't be our last.

We were lucky enough to get the whole eco lodge to ourselves when we visited - it really was a very peaceful place! The open rooms giving you a view to wake up to are lovely and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend the walk to the waterfalls, the guide Juanin is good company and really...

I am a yoga teacher based in New York City and I hosted the Yoga Eco-Tour: Dominican Republic here in January 2017. I brought a group of 15 people who came from all around the United States and met up at Tubagua. The variety of room styles made it possible for me to accommodate the different preferences of my yoga...

The views from this space are spectacular. Our hosts Tim, Tania and Juanin brought personality and care to our experience. I would highly recommend this place for adult retreats and vacations with a rustic flair! Food was great... Very authentic and flavorful. They are also accommodating to dietary restrictions.
