I spent a weekend in the suite at Villa Tokara with my boyfriend and it was perfect. Arrien and his wife are very friendly owners, so our stay almost felt like we were at a (very stylish) friend's house. They make great coffee and breakfasts. Our suite was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Arrien gave us great recommendations for exploring...

From the moment we booked on-line to the time of our departure from Willemstad, we felt very welcome and well taken care of by Arriën. Arriën was ready to answer any of our questions, arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport, greeted us upon arrival, gave...

You can't compare this very cool place to anything else. If in Curacao go there, stay there and you will not regret it. We stayed for 11 nights and enjoyed every moment. Hope to come back sometime.👍👍👍

We had reservations for 3 nights at Villa Tokara. Due to extreme weather in the Northeast our flight was cancelled and rescheduled for two days later. We did not ask for a refund of our reservation, only that they give us a credit for the three day stay which we would use another time. They refused.

My husband and I were able to stay for three nights at the Villa Tokara in Williamsted, Curacao at New Years 2015 and we had a wonderful time. Willie and Trudy are the most attentive and lovely hosts and the property is beautiful. We loved the personal feel (almost like staying in someone’s home but with plenty of privacy at...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Villa Tokara is the most beautiful place to stay on Curacao. The monumental villa has only five guestrooms, great service and a delicious breakfast by the pool. It’s right a the edge of Pietermaai, the recently renovated neighborhood with lots of great restaurants, nightlife and historic architecture to enjoy. At walking distance is Punda, the oldest part of Willemstad. Across the street is the Caribbean sea. All guestrooms are beautifully decorated with love and care and proximately 40m2. Bathrooms are large, have rain showers, double washbasins and all amenities. There’s one family room with a separate bedroom with two single beds. This room has a private patio too. All rooms have large king size double beds. There’s one smaller room: the patio room. Business travelers will feel at home at Villa Tokara too. It’s centrally located, quiet and there’s plenty of room to do some work if needed: in the comfort of your airconditioned room, in the living room or somewhere on the terrace. Tell us if you need a desk in your room. In the late afternoon or in the evening it’s an excellent place to wind down from a busy day. There are many dining options at walking distance. ... more   less

“If Mo's Boudoir is available go for it - but all the rooms are spacious and well-appointed and you will get a good nights sleep as the area is quiet and there is no noise. There is also a very good alarm clock if you sleep in with the morning patrol of the hound Shaki.”
