I stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The room was very cute and a great deal. It was a very short walking distance from the major sights and lively at night with bars and restaurants within 5 min walk. A shop and hairdresser on the grounds were a nice addition. The pool is small but we...

We are very disappointed with this hotel especially with one thing. The 50$ cleaning fee added at the end of our 1 day stay. But let's explain things since the beggining: we booked through booking.com 1 night in this hotel. When we arrived everything was ok, Paco took care of us and gave us all the explanations we needed, great,...

Dear Christophe, Thank you for this feedback. We picked this matter up earlier this month via e-mail, since we take this into consideration highly. We suggest that we solve this issue via that thread. Warmest regards, Team Pietermaai Boutique Hotel

The hotel itself is unique since it does not feel like a hotel since you get your own independent apartment for your stay with a small kitchenette to prepare meals, if you would like! The location is great to walk around to eat and sight-see! Our room had recently undergone an upgrade, so some functionalities were still being worked on,...

Dear Corinne, Thank you for taking time to write this review! We would like to apologize for the miscommunication concerning the pick up at the airport, indeed, after we saw your question about this service we arranged it immediately. It would have been better to check it if you would like to make use of it. It is great to...

Second time, and won't be the last. Friendly and helpfull people at the front desk. Love the small pool, the private parking area and restaurants and pubs in the streets nearby. It's a 5 minute walk to the center of Willemstad, Punda. Walk the Pontjesbrug to Otrobanda. All close by. By rental car you can just go to any beach...

Dear Wendy, Many thanks for this great review and high rating! It has again been a pleasure accommodating you in our hotel, this time in de Kalksteeg. It is nice to know that you had a great vacation, one of the nicest things indeed is that nearly everything is within walking distance in the Pietermaai District. When can we welcome...

We stayed for 7 nights at the Pietermaai Boutique hotel and I can say we really enjoyed it. The hotel is modern, clean and in an amazing location with a lot of bars, restaurants and amenities in walking distance making it a lively neighborhood which is also very close to the city center. Additionally, the staff of the hotel is...

I live on Bonaire and a weekend on Curacao is a mini vacation for me, which I try to indulge in a few times a year. My friend and I were put in room T2, which was next to the restaurant and right opposite the kitchen. Unfortunately there was also building work going on in the street right in front...

Everything about our stay here was great! First, we love the quirkiness and charm of the Pietermaai district. If you are here for any amount of time, visit this great neighborhood . We did and decided we wanted to stay a night. The first room (actually a studio) we stayed in was on the 2nd floor and had a vaulted...

Best holiday ever at the perfect Island in a really nice apartment. It was clean, modern, nice staff, good cleaning and well located. If you ever planned to go to Curacao, go here. One tip: if you are a light sleeper bring your earplugs. And talking about service, I had a late flight so I could have a late check-out...

We arrived in the middle of the night when the reception was closed but we had received very clear instructions of how to check ourselves in from the hotel. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Pietermaai District, once the area of the Curacao well-to-do, has untaken a huge make-over after a long period of neglect and abatement. However, the last 2 years Pietermaai District is working hard to be the new 'Quartier Latin' of Curacao. The colorful Pietermaai Apartments are located in the historical neighborhood of Pietermaai District in Willemstad. The apartments are divided from the sea by a narrow road. The center of Willemstad is only 500 meters away. Just like the neighborhoods Punda, Otrabanda, several clubs, shops, restaurants and cinema's. The well-known Cabana Beach is 4 km. Away. ... more   less
