We are just returned from another delightful 2 weeks at the Acuazul. It was a familiar place, we have visited Cuba 2 times a year for many years and have visited many resorts. For the last 5 years we have been returning to the Acuazul at least once each winter. Bearing in mind that this is Cuba with many of...

Family of 7, 9th time to CUBA. This resort is not on beach you must walk across 2 streets. Vacation from Mar17-24. Got there, we got 4 rooms. 3 of the bathrooms didn't work/ and no toilet seats. Room 211 the bath tub had rust holes and smelled. Room 209 there was so much mold in the closets and on...

Definitely not a 3 Star hotel - not even 1 star. Despite numerous complaints the TV never was fixed. The shower had no head, The bath room was continually flooded because of the lack of a proper shower curtain, and the TOILET HAD NO SEAT. Every morning we were killing hordes of mosquitoes breeding in the bath room. No lamps,...

The food was pretty good. The spread at New Years was fantastic. Bring light bulbs and toilet paper. The hallways were dark and the toilet paper was sparse. Only 2 small hotel towels for showers which were cold to warm. Strong smell of pétrole from the plants between 4 and 5 am. Bring earplugs because the bar in front of...

This was our first trip to Cuba and the first hotel, on our first night. This hotel, like all the hotels in Cuba, is owned and operated by the government. The first room we were led to was in the adjacent "apartmentos". The elevator was slow, pitch black (broken lights) and dirty. Hallways smelled like roaches. If you don't know...

Worst hotel in my lyfe. Doesn't worth 3 stars. Stinky, dirty, broken. Big bugs in the rooms. Only single bar opened for the customers. Elevator- klaustrophob's nightmare-no light. Never again. Highly not recommended.

I spend 2 nights with my family. All the hotel is terrible, not hot water, ac didn't work, water on the floor all around hotel, broke walls on the rooms, ladies in reception were really rude. Food was bad and they didn't have many things to offer. They were not helpful at all. But all the opposite making all the...

Our first night in Cuba was not welcoming...The room was dirty and outdated. The bathroom tub was rusty, and the shower handle was broken. The doorknob to the actual room was broken. We landed at night, and couldn't wait for the morning to check out and RUN to another hotel. HORRIBLE...lots of locals are there as well, the pool looked...

When I first got to hotel the front desk person was rude. Thought it was going to be like that the whole time. But all the other staff were very friendly and kind. Food was good and clean dinning area. Had fun at the pool bar and snack bar! One problem was they had me off side around the corner...
