1st visit to Gran Club. Great place. The staff are really nice people. Yurina Otero Hernández is an excellent representative for the resort. Too bad Matthew had to show up and spoil things although Hola Sun spoiled the experience far more than a hurricane did. I have never had a worse experience with a tour company. Seems the reps must... Stayed for one night, good stay, good food, good service. If you appreciate literature: Hemingway was one of various famous guests. You can enjoy typical meals and a really unmissable view from the terrace.

The hotel is located in the city centre and perfect for exploring. The old building is very charming and accomodation is above normal Cuban standard. The restaurant is on the higher floor (birds flying in and out). The breakfast buffet offers enough variety for most. The rooms have been renovated to modern standard with efficient airco. This was the only... More

Lovely hotel, a very pretty interior! The pool could do with a clean, I decided not to take a dip as my friends said it was rather cloudy and dirty. But the hotel as a whole was fine for a nights stop over. Breakfast was good enough, great view with breakfast!

This was our first stay in Cuba. The hotel has glorious common areas. The rooms are comfortable -- maybe not quite as creature comfortable as US hotels, but why go to Cuba if you want to want to have.everything like the US? Buffet and dining room were a feast for eyes and stomach.

We checked in at about 5pm, and found to our surprise, no towels, or beds made up, or lights working. On enquiry, "we've had a problem with maids today, maybe we'll get you towels in an hour or so". No explainantion of why this wasnt mentioned when we checked in. Perhaps we would not notice. That was possible, as there... More

This hotel is centrally located in Camaguey. It is definitely older and it shows, although, the rooms were clean and the rooftop was wonderful. There is a small pool area and the hotel also brings in live music and other entertainment, which is nice. There is a great rooftop with a wonderful city view and great drinks from the bar... More

The hotel is a period piece, very much reflecting the period it was built with few changes since. That said it all worked. The bar was 24 hours, the buffet breakfast was good and the buffet restaurant was good as well. The wine range was reasonable and the prices for all alcohol and food were very good. The top rooftop... More

This is a nice hotel with character in one of the loveliest towns in Cuba. The hotel has a great location right on the pedestrian street of the colonial designed town centre. It is a colonial designed hotel from a bygone time. There is even a pool as well as a lovely dining room on the fifth floor & a... More
