I stayed here while for 6 nights while taking part in a photo tour of Havana. The location is excellent, only 5 minutes from the Malecon and about 10 from the Hotel Inglaterra. My room was spotless, the breakfast was excellent, and Deysi and her whole family were always open, smiling and friendly. But the reason for my rating of...

Nice little casa in the area of centro Habana. Rooms are super clean. Breakfast is one of the best breakfast we had during our trip and Deysi is a extremely nice and helpful hostess. The casa has no particular charm but is quite comfortable. Beds are a bit hard but it is the case in most casas. No windows in...

I only got to stay here on my final night before flying out of Cuba very early the next morning. I found the owners to be really friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and quiet. Its in a good location about 5 minutes away from the city center and the 'Old Havana' part of town.

Arriving in Havana we did not know what to expect of a casa experience. All expectations were exceeded. Deysi and her son were so helpful, friendly and vibrant. They gave us advice on where to go and helped with our Spanish! We would go back in a heart beat. Her house was clean, rooms cleaned daily and breakfast was lovely....

Our room is very clean with ac which feels great after a hot day around town, comfortable, no perfume smell, which we hear some casas have. Her son David is great and husband is great. All very friendly and...

The most important thing about Casa Deysi is Deysi. She made this trip feel like visiting the home of a close relative. Every time she saw me she checked with me to make sure that I had everything I needed. Each night that I wanted to get something to eat, she had a perfect recommendation and made the reservation for...

Deysi went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed for a wonderful trip including a great book showing nearby attractions in Spanish/English. This was helpful as I don't speak Spanish. Deysi and her family were very welcoming and quickly answered any questions that I had. The casa is very clean and quiet. It is also centrally...

Desyi was very welcoming and friendly and her lively personality is infectious. She and her family work hard keeping the rooms clean and comfortable, providing generous daily breakfasts and attending to guest needs. She was fantastic in providing information, passing on messages to the friends we were meeting there and organising a taxi. The breakfast table is also a good...

“The casa has six rooms with 1 or 2 occupied year-round. The downstairs corner room is the most conveniently located, but can get a little noisy in the mornings. The upstairs rooms are all more quiet, and my personal favorite is the upstairs corner bedroom which overlooks the living room.”

“If arriving in Havana, book a hotel for just one night, or even at the airport arrivals, and then scout out the casa particulares the next day. Don't pre pay for many nights, site unseen, as you may end up disappointed. Many options abound in Havana even at the last minute, and during peak season.”
