We arrived in Havana safely and happily with the help and hosting of Carmen and her staff. Carmen is a very professional and experienced owner of this casa particular and we enjoyed our stay with her. We were picked up on arrival at the airport and returned two weeks later as we felt very confident in our host. Breakfast on... More

First I am deceived cause TripAdvisor has filtered my first review on Casa de Carmin and didn't allow it to appear. I am fully responsible for my review about casa de carmin, in which some of our personnel belongings has been stolen...two perfume brand new...and this happened by the lady who cleaned the room.... Otherwise, the casa is not bad... More

Nice comfortable rooms, well equipped with all you need on daily basis. Rooms cleaned every day which was good as well. There is always somebody speaking English around which was handy in getting tips how to move around Havana. Very tasty traditional cuisine served every time. Good location as well. The owners always ready to help.

This "casa particular" is the perfect place to stay. The owner, Carmen is not only warm and inviting, breakfast is prepared each morning for a minimal fee. The house is near all the main attractions and an easy walk to El Malecon, I highly recommend.

I spent 5 nights in Casa del Carmen and by the time I left I felt like family. Carmen and her family are SO kind, the rooms are comfortable and private, and the food was the best I had during my whole time in Cuba. The location is fantastic: just a short, pleasant walk to Havana Vieja or the Malecòn,... More

Stayed at this Casa as La Casa Amador was fully booked upstairs. Carmen assisted despite my poor Spanish with all taxi bookings and also with a booking to the Parisien Cabaret. She was a lovely host. She had a helper (Cuca) whose English was a better and Cuca made a great meal one night and the food was plentiful. Stayed... More

I spent 5 nights in Casa del Carmen, and it was a very pleasant one. Great accomodation: clean and full featured (air con, h/c water, tv, fridge). The family is very welcoming and helpful. A small drawback (that has its advantages though), is that it is a bit far from the center, which meant taxis everyday to and from the... More

Dear guide book, My girlfriend and I traveled to Cuba for a month now. We went to a casa particular that we read about in the site couchsurfing.org (http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/carmen-castillo) and where we can see good references. The couple who run this casa is really very nice, they are Carmen and Roli and you really feel very comfortable with them. They... More
