Great location if you want to be close to the beach. You just have to cross the street and you are on santa maria beach. But the rooms are in bad condition, food is not good. Better go to the restaurant just in front (really good value for the cost, great seafood and good cocktails). Good place for people, like... More

This is a Very basic hotel on a nice beach and access to Havana. If you are on vacation this is not the place for you. Try Tropicoco down the road instead. Only reason to check in is if you have no other option and need to stay just one night. Beach across the road is nice though. 20 min... More

I booked with Hola Sun Tours. A gov't run company in Cuba. I flew to Havana, instead of Veradero, although we stopped there enroute. Upon arrival at Havana airport I soon discovered that there were no signs marking where to pick up my luggage at one of the two conveyor belts. Never saw my luggage again!! Hola Sun did not... More

We booked a 2 room Apt. here as it was the only room left "In" La-Havana. We arrived and felt very lost because the pictures on-line are beautiful and the reality was much more bleak! We checked-in and then had to haul our luggage 1/2 a football field away on a barely paved sidewalk to the room. When we finally... More

We travelled to Cuba this summer for the first time, and we actually rented a villa in the city, but seeing as how it is cheaper to get a hotel and flight package than to get just plane tickets, we booked the cheapest package we could get, which was with this hotel. However, since we had a really late flight... More

I actually stayed here in December of 2013 during the Christmas week. I'm still in disbelief I stayed at this hotel that it took me some time to share my experience but I felt it my duty to share with other fellow travellers the nightmare I experienced. I have pictures too if you would like to have a look at... More

It isn't the Ritz but neither will you pay top dollar either. Las Terrazas is situated in Playa des Este not too far from Guanabo. It is a group of small apartments featuring kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. It needs a lot of paint and plastering but it is clean and spacious. At first glance one would say it... More

I stayed here as a somewhat cheap alternative for someone who wanted to just stay for 4-5 nights. Now I am not fussy, or a cheapskate, I just wanted a place that was not a typical tourist trap all inclusive resort. And that's what it was. The place does have potential, but it needs work. Pros: * I was in... More

Head the warnings.(I question if I stayed at the same hotel as some of these folks) Just came back from a five night stay in Cuba. Disappointing at best. The Las Terrazas would have been a grand place to stay 65 years ago. Sprawling grounds with lots of crumbling amenities, lovely decorative piles of rubble and plenty of empty pools... More
