We stayed here with our two kids. Our room had a nice little fish pond outside and everyone slept very comfortably. They brought in an extra cot and even set up babysitting one night. They were outstanding in service and the breakfast they provided. The pool was clean and refreshing. We would highly recommend this place and they even provided...

My husband and I enjoyed a three-night getaway at the Royal Palms and loved every moment. Friendly and attentive staff, a good breakfast to get us ready for a day of exploring the island, a comfortable room at the end of a busy day, which was equipped with a mini fridge, a small microwave, and a toaster oven. The grounds...

Dear macknitter, Thank you for your kind review. We're so pleased to hear you enjoyed your room and the amenities. It is lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy the many sounds of nature while relaxing in a swing. When walking into the city from the hotel we always like to recommend our guests take the route that offers...

The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from centre of town. Has a nice garden and a small pool. Breakfast has decent choices and rooms are fairly big. My main complaint is the constant chair scraping and music coming from the cafe/ restaurant downstairs. This goes on each night from around 7pm until past 11pm, even though the restaurant closes...

I traveled to Hamilton on business and stayed at the Royal Palms for the second time in 3 years. The location is convenient, the rooms and grounds are lovely, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will certainly stay here again.

Wonderful staff, great location and gorgeous gardens all enhance the feeling of Bermuda at this quaint boutique hotel. Just a few blocks from Hamilton with its variety of restaurants and shops as well as the ferry stop, make this the perfect place to stay if you want to explore the island. Plus it houses one of the top restaurants in...

Everything about our experience was top notch : the room, the breakfast the service, the restaurant, the grounds. Walking distance to Hamilton and a huge variety of restaurants. Highly recommend the place unless you really need to be on the beach or need an elevator and cannot get a ground floor room.

Lived up to if not exceeded the brochure description. Cheerful and helpful staff. Excellent and extensive buffet breakfast. It is in easy walking distance of the town centre, ferries and bus station. Don't forget you can't hire a car on Bermuda. A lovely quiet hotel with beautifully kept gardens with plenty of seating in them or on the hotel veranda...

Dear RetiredNo, Thank you for your review as it's great to hear how you enjoyed your stay with us. Whilst car rentals are unavailable in Bermuda there are scooter rentals for our more adventurous guests! The island also provides an efficient public transportation system with buses and ferries scheduled from early morning to late evening to shuttle you around the...

It is unusual to be able to review a hotel which has no faults. It is what the brochure describes and more. It does not have a five star rating because of lack of lifts and some other minor factors but it is five star in every other way

TheresaZuill, Manager at Royal Palms Hotel, responded to this review

Dear robinson209, That is indeed correct, we are not a five star property primarily based on the fact that we do not have an elevator as the original private home was built back in the late 1900's. With only one floor above ground level our staff are here to assist with guest luggage. Whilst we also do not offer room...

You can stop researching now and just book Royal Palms for your Bermuda vacation or business trip. How can you have a bad time, at this charming boutique hotel, when your room has a floral name like ‘Buttercup’ or ‘Rosemary’? This hotel has a vibe that all the guests seem to pick up. We had wonderful conversations with people from...

All of the rooms are great and quintessential British Bermuda charm - we found them quite spacious and comfortable.
