What a disappointment this so called boutique hotel was. Brickell Bay Beach Club & Spa is more like a motel, and one that's in dire need of a total renovation. The pictures on the website are a far cry from reality. Don't stay at this...More
Fairly clean but service was awful and NOTHING is included as promised and advertised!
A/C and above-bed fan in room, along with dehumidifier (which we emptied ourselves!) First night, the room was freezing so we just turned it down a bit. No big deal we...More
If you want to save a little money, this hotel is located across one street from the beach. You can't get any closer without being on the beach directly. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in. Everyone was so polite...More
Omg, I was so very disappointed from the moment I walked into the so called lobby of the hotel, everything that I saw online was not what I saw when walking into the hotel. The room had markings on the floor as if someone had...More

I was disappointed to read of your experience during your stay with us, specially as per your room cleanliness and I would have loved to meet with you and your partner in person to discuss and inspect the issue as per your review.
The moment you're in front of the hotel, nice yellow color, you feel very comfortable as if you have been there before. Friendly staff at the front desk make you feel even more better. Paper work is done very efficiently and the staff is very...More

First off, this resort is not a resort or even a spa, it is a hotel! The bar is open on different nights. It is really loud dance music and sometimes is very crowded and sometimes it is just the regulars. Sopranos is a good live music bar and a landmark, so that is a must see. There is a Senior Frogs right around the corner, as well as another club like bar across the street. All in all, this is a great area to hang out in. Also, there are casinos in all of the hotels around that area and as long as you are playing the penny slots you can drink for free so that's a good way to start the night off. The local hot spot is called Salt and Pepper. It is just a bar but has the history and a great staff. If you bring a salt or pepper shaker with you from wherever you are from they will display it with the rest of the tourists that have brought them. The frozen Mojitos are awesome! Lastly, there is a bar that is out on the end of a pier over near the RIU resort that has live music at night and it was really fun! Aruba is VERY expensive so try and eat dinners with the early bird specials. They offer them everywhere. They have happy hour for drinks as well from 5-7 I believe. Enjoy your trip!!!! Its gorgeous!!!!

If you are a guest at the Brickell hotel there are few lounges free but in the same area you can find Marcel Sports (Saundra is the owner) where you can rent umbrella and lounges and be comfortable. At Eagle beach you can also rent but as it is a public beach without hotels on the beach I´m not sure how is the serevice there.
