Extremely dissatisfied with the accomodations at this hotel. The 2 rooms I rented were musty, smelly and damp. One room was worse than the other but neither were up to the standards the hotel boasted!
The lock didn't work which caused us to lose time...More
Second time we´ve been there, now 2017 August, previously was 2011 June, the hotel had some renovations but it still needs improvements, anyway, everything was great, location is still a very positive aspect, as it is in the best part of Palm beach, near to...More
I stayed in this hotel for over a week during my business trip. The only good part about it is the location and friendly stuff. Everything else need changes.

The location is directly in the heart of palm beach night life. Direct access to the sand bar & 297 clubs. However, the service lacking in the housekeeper department. Everyday I had to ask for wash cloths or towels. They didn't clean the rooms very...More
Cristina at the Spa is the best kept secret in Aruba! The massage and pedicure appointments I had were superior! She definitely takes the hotel to a higher level.
My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel - boutique, nice pool, away from people traffic,...More

First off, this resort is not a resort or even a spa, it is a hotel! The bar is open on different nights. It is really loud dance music and sometimes is very crowded and sometimes it is just the regulars. Sopranos is a good live music bar and a landmark, so that is a must see. There is a Senior Frogs right around the corner, as well as another club like bar across the street. All in all, this is a great area to hang out in. Also, there are casinos in all of the hotels around that area and as long as you are playing the penny slots you can drink for free so that's a good way to start the night off. The local hot spot is called Salt and Pepper. It is just a bar but has the history and a great staff. If you bring a salt or pepper shaker with you from wherever you are from they will display it with the rest of the tourists that have brought them. The frozen Mojitos are awesome! Lastly, there is a bar that is out on the end of a pier over near the RIU resort that has live music at night and it was really fun! Aruba is VERY expensive so try and eat dinners with the early bird specials. They offer them everywhere. They have happy hour for drinks as well from 5-7 I believe. Enjoy your trip!!!! Its gorgeous!!!!

If you are a guest at the Brickell hotel there are few lounges free but in the same area you can find Marcel Sports (Saundra is the owner) where you can rent umbrella and lounges and be comfortable. At Eagle beach you can also rent but as it is a public beach without hotels on the beach I´m not sure how is the serevice there.
