At the outset, I would say that overall this property is amazing because of its location to the beach. Each room is immediately on the beach, steps away from the water (either through a sliding door or second floor deck with stairs down). The water...More
My family of 4 (kids 17 and 22) just returned from a 5-night stay at the Tamarijn, and thoroughly enjoyed it! We have been to Jamaica twice and Cancun once, and I think this has been our favorite so far. We have stayed at Beaches...More
One of the best places we have ever stayed. Rooms are comfortable and the patio door opens onto your own little porch area and the beach and ocean in front of you! Wonderful! Not very lively - there are a number of restaurants you can...More
This was a nice all inclusive for the money. Easy (close) town and airport access, clean rooms and the most beautiful and spacious beach in Aruba, by FAR.

The Dutch Village is adjacent to the Tamarijn but doesn’t share the same facilities. It’s looks nice. I have not holidayed at the Dutch Village so is cannot comment on best value for your money. Have a great holiday

There is a small parade of shops for souveniers, drinks, sweets and crisps actually in the hotel. A short bus ride away is the capital of Oranjestad which is nice to look around. Our tour rep had lots of ideas for trips so there are plenty to choose from and they normally come and collect you from the hotel. The hotel has bikes for hire and we saw people down in the capital who had ridden there from the hotel. The buses stop right outside the hotel which is convenient.
