Carters is a family oriented business located very near the VC Bird International Airport. The facility is relatively clean, not modern but livable. I had a frightening experience in the bathroom while taking a shower, when I came to adjust the water faucet I experienced an electrical shock. My colleague in the neighboring room had a similar experience. I reported...

Let me first say the positive things. They pick you up at the airport and srip you back for free but take into account that it is only a 2 or 3 minute drive to the guest house. The lady who ushers you to the vehicle Wilda is very friendly and welcoming and tries to assist where she can. The...

On the upside it was cheap and clean, on the down side there was no tea or coffee facilities and most of the lights didn't work. The planes taxiing past the window weren't too bad but the banging gate was. We were told 5:00 for the free ride to the airport and then at 4:00 the next morning were told...

Arrived in Antigua for connection to Dominica but flight was cancelled. Airport staff quickly recommended Carter's as it was close by and relatively inexpensive for one night. If you are stuck with no previous arrangements for somewhere to stay and you don't mind basic, no frills not even tea and coffee facilities in the room, then stay here. Otherwise look...

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Only positive is proximity to the airport , the young gentleman who picked us up from the airport and hot water to bathe. The customer service otherwise in non-existent. The owner is rude and has a "chip" on his shoulder. One gets the impression he is trying to grab money as fast as he can. He...

The room was very clean and quite comfortable. The owners were very friendly and helpful. I traveled by bus the first bus leaves at six and the last bus leaves St Johns at...

I and a collegue stayed over for the night to catch a flight the next day. The only convenience I saw as that was near the airport. Otherwise, the owners were very unfriendly and disrespectful, They may try to overcharge on transport into the town, you can see into the rooms at nights from outside if your lights are on...

This guest house is very convenient to the airport. It is a family business and caters to the budget traveler as well as travelers in transit between islands. The staff will pick you up and deliver you back to the airport for your flight. They also have rental cars available for reasonable rates. We stayed here twice when we were...

I was stranded overnight at Antigua when a delayed BA flight caused me to miss my connection to Montserrat. A member of airport staff recommended this guest house. Within a few minutes a car arrived to collect me. The lady driver was very helpful, both with luggage and in helping me contact relatives about the delay. She also called me...

We stayed overnight at Carter's when our onward Liat flight was cancelled. Our room was basic, but very clean and adequately furnished, with a small kitchenette. The air conditioning worked well, the shower pressure less so. There is no restaurant, so if you arrive wanting dinner you are out of luck, though the manager offered to drive us to a...
