Wow, as a disabled person in a wheelchair I was amazed at how spacious and comfortable the room was, especially the walk-in wet room and the staff room amazing they could not do enough for us a special mention for Emma who went far beyond what we expected from any member of staff to help us it's in a good location and the restaurant next door has amazing food and again excellent staff I thoroughly recommend this hotel

A very pleasant 2 night stay in Premier Inn Cymbran. 2 adults and 2 children sharing a family room. Excellent, friendly welcome from the member of staff on reception who also solved 2 small issues that we raised very quickly and efficiently. Room was slightly smaller than we had hoped it would be for a family room. However, the room was cosy and warm, the beds were very comfortable, the room was clean and we heard very little noise coming from other rooms in the hotel. Bathroom was very good although the lack of a slip mat in the slightly slippy shower was a slight issue. WiFi was free which was very good although it was not always reliable. Having the restaurant attached to the Premier Inn was a huge benefit to us. This restaurant was superb. It was cosy, spacious and had a great atmosphere. We had 2 breakfasts and 2 evening meals in there. On all 4 occasions, the food was superb, the choice was extensive and the service from the staff was superb. Checkout on the morning of departure was very easy and not needing to leave until 12 noon meant we didn't need to rush. All in all a great stay and i would recommend this hotel to anyone else wishing or needing to stay in this area.

Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and despite the hotel being very very busy we felt perfectly safe with the safety measures put in place because of COVID-19. All of the staff especially the duty manager I think her name was “Tina” (not 100% sure) were friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble, we know things have changed due to COVID-19 and the rooms are not serviced daily but whenever we needed something
ie towels they were promptly brought to us in a secure bag. Will definitely stay here gain , it felt like home from home.

We love premier inn hotels stayed in a few over years but felt dissapointed by the level of service and cleanliness of this hotel.
The room itself wasn't clean the carpet very grubby and ditched. Went in shower and towels had long black hairs stuck on them making me feel queasy as I'm a blonde so defo not mine these wasn't replaced during our stay neither was the room cleaned or bed made or changed. The room itself needed a big deep clean as dust and dirt in every corner.
Put us off premier inn for future bookings elsewhere. Wont be returning

We stayed at this Premier Inn as an overnight stay following attending a funeral and we are pleased to say that we had a very comfortable clean quiet room just what we needed after a sad occasion. The staff were very helpful and very friendly allowing us access to our room an hour earlier because of the timing of the funeral. Please note however that there is a future plan to introduce a tariff for this service. We had dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning at the Table Table restaurant next to the hotel and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Again the staff were very friendly and efficient. I’m originally from Cwmbran and would be quite happy to stay here again for any future visits.

We normally choose the Premier Inn Hotels for their consistency. Having stayed in quite a few over the years, I feel the overall standard has dropped a little. It now seems to be dependent on what geographical area you are staying in.

Cleanliness of the entrance to reception needed attention. There were two bath towels but only one hand towel for a double room. Only one Coffee/Tea sachet each so you had to decide if you drink coffee on arrival, last thing at night or first thing in the morning. It was only on checking out that we were told we could have asked for more. This should have been mentioned on arrival.
The TV in the room didn’t receive a programme signal. After changing the input settings on the remote control, it finally worked. This should be one of the checks when housekeeping gives the room back to reception as being ready for occupancy.

The Service in the adjoining restaurant needed much to be desired. Our main meals took a long time to arrive. One was sent back because it was wrong. Our deserts were ok but again, we had a long wait. As for the after-dinner drinks, we waited so long that we had to go to the bar to ask where they were. We were told that the ticketing system had gone down, and staff had not noticed that order tickets were not being printed.

Although taking breakfast the following day towards the end of the given time period, it was fresh and arrived promptly.

I enjoyed staying at the Premier Inn, Cwmbran. I had a very friendly and pleasant welcome from Pamela, the receptionist. I arrived at 8.30pm and had not had a proper meal that day because of the journey time. Pamela took the time to ask if I'd had dinner, and when I said I hadn't, she immediately booked me in for dinner at the Table Table restaurant affiliated to the hotel. Very good service, the staff were friendly for my stay. My room was comfortable and very nice.
Spacious car park, there was always a space to park my car
I enjoyed staying at the Premier Inn Cwmbran

Very nice friendly place, a little out of the way from other amenities however staff very very friendly and the Decor is fresh.

The restaurant next door is the Table Table brand which is reasonable and part of the Whitbread Group I believe.

Cant beat a Premier Inn for a safe quite nights sleep.

Would recommend for any occasion.

Stayed at the Premier Inn at Cwmbran for 2 nights this week and was greeted on the front desk by Alison. Right from the start this lady makes you welcome, her knowledge of the area is so good. Nothing is too much trouble and she goes out of her way to make sure your stay is the best.
We stayed in no 16 at the back on the ground floor, very quiet, spotlessly clean, Covid rules all in place. The Ashbridge restaurant next door is a bonus if you need to have a drink or eat. The location is spot on just outside of Cwmbran, easy to get to Cardiff and the Valleys.
We are out in the evenings at The White Hart and The Queen Inn, both close by and had superb meals.
Highly recommend this Premier Inn for a stay, and at all costs Premier Inn you have to keep Alison, she is the face of your company and you can not do any better than this lady.

Just got home from spending 7 nights here.
There were 5 of us in 4 rooms 3 with disabilities.
The staff especially Tanya and house keeping were amazing.my foster son thought he had lost a Nintendo switch and as we were going out for the day the staff phoned round all the places we had been and taxi firms for us.
Rooms were cleaned when we asked if they could be.
If you needed anything extra you got it in all bagged up.
Hotel was quiet if there were noise re reception would sort it out.
The breakfast was so nice just asked for anything of the menu and you got it.
Rob and Paul were really nice with my Down syndrome foster son.
All good and . The young couple with me miss the hotel already and wish they were still there.

Hi Rdstuhldreer Thanks for your query. We don't allow pets with the exception of assistance dogs, so this shouldn't be a problem. We would just ask that you inform the team prior to arrival, you can call them on 0333 777 4636 (option # for Reception). The train station is about a mile away from the hotel, so would take around 20 minutes to walk. Cwmbran Stadium is about 2.2 miles away, so would be about a 40 minute walk from the hotel. The team would be happy to advise on public transport or arrange a taxi if needed. Hope this helps. Regards Amy Thacker Premier Inn Team
