So arrived sat evening in the dark cold and the rain to be met with a warm genuine friendly smile and welcome as you expect when you travel down to Wales by two lovely ladies. Who actually brought a smile to our faces after a long drive.
11/10 for theses ladies
Place was warm clean and all you need for a great stay.
Breakfast and dinner in the brewer's fayer next door where a great welcome was received also.
Set in a fabulous valley and well worth the visit.

Our first trip away since Covid - it was so nice just to have different scenery! The rooms were great, typical Premier Inn, and the location is great for exploring the Brecon Beacons - we walked Sugar Loaf and Pen Y Fan while we were there, as well as visiting a number of castles. Was woken at midnight on the 2nd night by someone hammering on our door, but other than that no problems.

The Brewer's Fayre next door however lets this Premier Inn down. The staff are sullen (on our first night the waitress was a scarier version of Nessa from Gavin & Stacey and we didn't dare complain about the wait!), and the wait for breakfast was awful. I get that they're getting used to table service rather than the typical buffet style breakfast, but it took 1.5 hours each morning to get through breakfast, and with 3 hangry kids that isn't pleasant.

Very friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Requested extra pillows and coffee which were delivered promptly. Very comfy and clean room and air con greatly apreciated after a hot 3 hour car journey. Hotel in pretty location with mountains on either side. Brewers Fayre attached for meals and has kids play area which our 8 y/o loved. Had a great nights sleep and was refreshed for our trip to zip world next day. Would definitely recommend and will be returning. Only slight criticism is the speed of service in the Brewer's Fayre. Restaurant wasnt busy but service was still slow and had to ask more than once for drinks/food ordered that didn't arrive when it should. No issues at all with the Premier Inn itself though

The Ebbw Vale location is managed by a close-knit team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff who will do anything to make your stay more comfortable. I checked in after my mother passed away in a nearby hospital, and from the outset, the staff went above and beyond what I expected. They were compassionate and supportive, and provided me with comfortable accommodation. I would highly recommend this location, whatever your reason for staying is. Wonderful staff and a comfortable, quiet hotel.

Was visiting relatives in Wales and had the pleasure of staying over in the Premier Inn Ebbw Vale Hotel over the Christmas and New Year. The service in the hotel was top notch we were made so welcome a home away from home especially Rachel, Jade and Lisa on reception who were extremely helpful throughout our stay even on our last night nothing was ever a bother to them they were absolutely amazeballs they are an absolute credit to the Premier Inn brand and should be nominated for an award for their service to the hospitality industry. I hope Lenny Henry reads this!!! Will definitely stay here again. We stayed in an accessible room and house keeping staff had our room keep so clean on a daily basis.

So we arrived an hour past check in time(around 5pm), were given our key only to find once we entered the room it was not ready...partially cleaned and not made back up, not a problem, we went to the adjoining brewers fayre and waited, about an hour later one of the ladies from front of house arrived to tell us the room was ready and we returned to freshen up before our pre booked dinner only to find we just had the one towel to share between 4 of us, I once again attended reception to ask for more towels only to be told that there weren't any more available and we would have to wait, we eventually gave up the wait and went for dinner and on our return were eventually given towels and normal service was resumed, they did refund breakfast to try and rectify the situation but it turns out breakfast wasn't that great either...but that's another story.
The reception staff were lovely and clearly doing their best, just struggling with a bad day...

Excellent customer service with a warm welcome. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A very clean & comfortable room. Clean towels were available on request, as rooms are not serviced on stays of one night or more (Covid policy). Great value for money. Well-placed for visiting family.
Take a stroll to the lake or catch a train to Cardiff and beyond....all on the doorstep.

I recently booked a same night stay at the Premier Inn in Ebbw Vale after a really disappointing experience with a hotel in Tenby. Local hotels were booked up and we were desperately trying to find a stay for the night. Ebbw Vale was available and I travelled 1.5 hours late at night to this Premier Inn. We arrived at 11.30pm and there were 3 absolutely wonderful staff on reception. I was tired and stressed but they were so welcoming, put me at ease and even had a bit of a laugh and joke with us. The room was wonderful, comfortable and clean and we had a superb breakfast at the Brewer's Fayre the next morning. My only constructive comment is that when we booked our breakfast sitting for 10.15am the following day, we didn't realise the breakfast service was only until 10.30am so it would be good for them to point this out to guests. The hotel was in a beautiful area surrounded by hills. Although we didn't get to explore Ebbw Vale as we decided to go to Bridgend the following day, we had a wonderful night's stay in a difficult situation. I can HIGHLY recommend this superb Premier Inn and would consider returning in the future.

We have just spent four nights here, as part of a large Car Club Group, over 50 of us. The staff at the hotel were amazing, helpful and friendly, both all of the reception staff and housekeeping staff.
Our room was a particularly large room and benefited from a window that opened as well as the aircon (worth asking if you like a bit of fresh air).
The bathroom was spotless. The room was serviced as we wished, as we were there for four nights. Great shower.
The Brewers Fayre attached more than met our needs and once again the staff were all great. They catered for more than 50 of us for dinner for two nights in a very efficient manner.
Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and freshly cooked.
Being from the South of England we were pleasantly surprised by the low cost of the drinks! I apologise for cleaning out the Whitley Neil Gin stock!
The location served our purpose as we were doing long scenic drives for the two main days of our trip.

After we had booked this hotel, we read a review that described the location as in the middle of an industrial estate. It isn't! There are one or two factories, businesses near by but you can't see them from the hotel. In fact the setting is quite pleasant. There were a few small issues withthehotel. The room felt chilly on the first evening however, staff dealt with it straight away. Corridor carpets looked a bit 'gtotty' which was a shame as first impressions count. The positives are, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, spacious and well equipped with all the necessities. Food was ok but could be improved. Our overall experience was good. We'd visit again.
