Our second stay using both the B&B and gite. Charming home which the hosts John & Lee-Anne have restored beautifully, creating a relaxing haven. Adjacent garden and pool add to the enjoyment. Lee- Anne's meals are excellent value served in style. A wonderful find and excellent value.

Excellent hosts and a building that could easily have featured in "Renovation Rescue," L'Impasse du Temple with it's extensive garden and swimming pool, large rooms and wonderful cuisine, is a place I could return to again and again.

I was taking a painting course in the summer of 2001 & this was our base. From the moment we arrived until the day we finally departed we were simply pampered beyond anything one could imagine. What also made the painting workshop of 4 Canadian artists w Peter so effortless was that our hosts conjured up the most incredible lunches...

My husband and I spent a week in the very cute gite attached to this B&B. Arrived tired, after a long drive and were delighted with the very well-set up cottage with views over a lovely garden. Dinner that first night was provided by Leanne and was of exceptional quality. Probably one of the best meals of our nine week...

My wife and I recently returned from 12 wonderful days in the Languedoc, three of which were spent with John and Lee-anne Furness in the little village of Leran. The Furness's B&B, L'Impasse du Temple, is situated in the very center of the village and it includes the house itself (3 floors), a lovely courtyard, and, out back, an inviting...

The drive from Montpelier was certainly worth it to stay in this fabulous bed and breakfast and enjoy the hospitality of John and Leanne. Nothing was too much trouble and the meal served in the Courtyard on a balmy summers evening was one of the highlights of our summer holiday in Europe. Lazing by the pool in the magnificent garden...

Thanks Lee Anne and John for another great stay. Good fun as always and enjoyed by John and I for the 6th time. Clearly becoming a habit which is hard to kick. Our friends all had a good weekend mid stay and this was highlighted by the exceptionally good meal cooked by Lee Anne. We missed being able to get...

We loved this B&B - fantastic Australian hosts are very welcoming. Beautiful French house restored by John and Lee-anne in the middle of the village of Leran - breakfasts were fab, and the dinner hosted in the courtyard was very special with delicious food. Lovely garden and a pool to relax by - we really enjoyed our stay here.

Only one night, but excellent. Very helpful and friendly hosts, lovely restful garden with pool. A quiet but central village setting in a superb area. The house is sympathetically restored and comfortable. We had a great meal cooked by Lee-anne in the atmospheric courtyard (remains of an old Protestant chapel). We happily recommend it and if we get the opportunity...
