They don't advertise themselves as being a 5 star luxury resort, so don't expect to get the royal treatment. I personally enjoyed my weekend here! I got what I paid for....or even more! Apart from the run-down Edgewater Resort, or the expensive Pacific Resort, I can't think of any other place where you'll find the most amenities than here at...

I could write a novel but no one really cares so i will cut it down slightly and share my high and low lights Highs: - Beautiful beach/lagoon - Decent straight off the beach snorkelling - Awesome New Years event (at $100pp mind you) - The lovely lady at the Sanctury bar who arranged some snacks for us when we...

We had shocking service from the outset. We had 3 rooms booked, arrived 7.30am fair enough no room but how hard would it be to escort guests to day area and show them around? We were originally told one of our rooms would be ready at 11am, the other two at 2pm. We appreciated this as had a 20 month...

A previous reviewer entitled their review ' Paradise run poorly' and I couldn't agree more! We also stayed at The Rarotonga in the Sanctuary side ( no kids and quiet). The room was fine and comfortable. We only had one night as we were staying in an Air BnB at Aorangi and my wife treated me for Christmas to a...

Where to start.... Oh yes..Spa, oh they don't have one you can go across the road for reflexology or a head massage. The place is so out dated and needs a complete overhaul. I didn't have a plug for my bath for 4 days nobody could be bothered to find me one. And just not enough staff, room service at...

Upon arrival in the middle of the night, our room was under renovation. We finally got a room, with an upgrade about an hour later but only after knocking back a room with a double bed only - for 3 people. The location was beautiful, the staff for the most part were very courteous, friendly and helpful. Name tags would...

Ok, 3rd day here and to be honest we are pretty disappointed. 2 days in a row our room has not been serviced! They don't have any ashtrays or water for when you have lunch or dinner. They are also very quick to charge for anything like when we hired the BBQ for $20 the wanted to charge $9 to...

The location, staff for the most part are very nice. This place had seen much better days. Perhaps 10 years ago.Today however this is a tired and somewhat run down resort. Better to eat elsewhere than the restaurant as the food is average when compared to what you will end up paying for. The breakfast buffet is basic whereas anything...

My husband and I stayed at The Rarotongan Beach Resort and Spa over the Christmas and new year period and were nothing but dissappointed. The location is fantastic but the customer service was terrible. Staff had a zero care factor to answer basic questions. The rooms were filthy, unhygenic, outdated and dusty. Our bathroom sink kept rising, my husband had...

We stayed at the Villa which is 300m up from the Rarotongan and it was great! It was a 3 bedroom place which could hold 8 people. It had 3 bathrooms, kitchen, Spa bath, pool table and our own pool. You could easily spend a few days just within the villa and not get bored. We also got free wifi...
