I'd stayed there a few times when Im in the Islands, beach across the road, main hotel within a couple of minute walk from your door, as well as the bus to town right in front of your accommodation , yet far enough from any traffic noise, lastly the host. Mata and liz, you both are such a lovely and...

Great location, we hired a car, Vaikoi was a great spot to access the snorkelling and drive to other great spots on the Island. We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa and it was very clean and more than spacious enough for our family of 5. Mata is a wonderful host, not at all intrusive. We loved our time at...

Great location great hosts and great little villas. Loved our stay and would definitely come back here again. Excellent service and well priced villas. Especially the three bedroom house. The hosts are friendly but stay out of the way for privacy. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay here at Vaikoi, the hosts are simply lovely and amazing. Highly recommended to stay, central to various resorts, bus stops and close to the beach and scooter hire. Self contained small villas are perfect with great kitchen, bathroom and washing machine. surprisingly quiet too.

This was our second visit to Rarotonga but first time staying at Vaikoi. We wanted to be out of town near some of the great snorkeling beaches on the south side of the island and Vaikoi suited the bill perfectly. It's far enough off the main road (on the side way from the beach) so that it's quiet, but only...

What a wonderful place you have Mata and Kathy. We enjoy our stay with you just that little bit more each time we come. Whether you book the house or one of the smaller bungalows accommodation at Vaikoi is welcoming, private and superb. Just the right mix for us, set in a beautiful tropical garden with the beach only a...

We have just returned from 11 days, staying at Vaikoi. Our 1 bedroom bungalow was superb. It had absolutely everything we needed. Mata and Kathy made us so welcome. We highly recommend this accommodation in Rarotonga. If you're looking for a self-contained bungalow, this is the place to stay.

This was our third visit to Rarotonga and this time we decided to stay at self-contained accommodation. Vaikoi is located very near the Rarotongan Resort down a road off the main island road. It has two one bedroom bungalows and a larger house for families. The main attraction for us was its location to Aroa Beach which is where we...

We had lovely stay at the vaikoi. It did take some finding as its not signposted from the road, so take the name of the road with you. Adopted by the three cats, particularly as our hosts were overseas. When they were around at the early part of the stay we were gifted with fresh bananas and passionfruits. It was...

“any of mata's two small or one large bungalows, on vaikoi property, are wonderful- depends on the size of your group- the two small bungalows are only for 1 or 2 people, but the large house has several bedrooms. all are in a garden setting, and spaced far enough apart to provide privacy and quiet evenings.”
