Awesome hosts! Was filled in on what to do around town with our kids when we arrived. Very well spaced out camp sites. Most quiet and peaceful campsite I’ve stayed at. Super dog friendly, was great to bring our Labrador along :) thanks guys! Rawene is awesome and full of friendly people, and nice drive to Opo and to Ngawha hot springs if you’re after some day trips.

Paid $130 for the ensuite cabin only to find we had to be silent by 10pm, had to wash, dry and clean the kitchen equipment before checking-out and the toilet suite was in the doorway of the pocket door - like literally!! Funniest thing about it was, we had to pay when we checked-in however when I booked, she told me that payment was required upon checking out. Ohhh ... & the shower only runs hot not warm. Save your money - Do not stay in the ensuite cabin!!

Exceptional in every way. Location is stunning and a short walk to gorgeous Rawene village. The hosts are absolutely delightful. The facilities are spotless regardless of the time of day or night. Kitchen and showers are excellent, and so are the outdoor tables & deck areas. Locals are helpful. There is loads to see and do in surrounding areas such as Opononi, Omapere & more. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We couldn’t have hoped for better.

I enjoyed so much my stay. The property is wonderful, with lovely native trees, views, a beautiful deck and a small equipped kitchen. I had little interaction with the owners but they were very friendly. The only slight downside is that my camp site (I) was not quite even.

We stayed for just the one night in our campervan. We parked in the lower area and we’re close to kitchen and bathrooms. The BBQ area and pool have the most beautiful view over the harbour. The bathrooms have the toilet included and the floors are always damp due to way shower curtain hangs. It’s ok but given the park was full and only two toilets I did feel a wee bit rushed. Saying that the lovely quiet spot, beautiful view and ability to take dogs made it worth it. Great price at $40 for two.
