Astrid kindly collected us from the airport and on the way to Seaside Garden she showed us where the shops and restaurants are, which was very helpful. Our apartment was spacious, clean and very well equipped. Views from the lounge and the sundeck towards Buccoo Bay are gorgeous. Excellent restaurants, take away food options and shops are very close by....

This guest house did have all the amenities such as AC, ensuite private bathroom and laundry. We just had a feeling of having the religious beliefs of the host and some other guests pushed quite strongly. They would gather in the main areas of the house which other guests have to walk through to go outside or get to the...

Lots of praise for Astrid and her guesthouse. Firstly when she calls it "seaside" she isn't exaggerating - the sea is literally the other side of the road. Also it's in a brilliant location in "downtown" Buccoo and less than 5 minutes walk to: a beautiful beach, top eating options to suit all tastes and budgets (Tartaruga the Italian was...

We moved here after a stay at another resort, and Astrid came to pick us up in her own car, which was very appreciated. We arrived at the guesthouse, and we were blown away by the view, and the amazing location. Right overlooking the beach, is brilliant. Astrid showed us to our room, and took us a tour of the...

This wonderful place is locaded in the beautiful, calm and genuine fishing village of Buccoo, only a 10 minute car ride to the more crowded and touristy Crown Point. The house is beautiful, the rooms nice and clean. Good facilities for cooking and a beautiful veranda to spend warm evenings on. The real gem of this place though is the...

My stay at Seaside gardens was great. The rooms were clean, neat, and air conditioned. We were able to cook a couple meals in the well equipped kitchen. The location was also very convenient to other places of activities. Our host Astrid however, was the best. She made sure everything was ok and everyone was comfortable, even providing toys for...

After researching many guesthouses for the Island of Tobago, we struck it lucky with The Seaside Garden Guesthouse! Upon our arrival we were greeted by the lovely Astrid who runs the guesthouse and shown to our room. The next day we got up and cooked breakfast communal kitchen which is cleaned daily and kept spotless. I fell in love with...

My husband and I spent 2 nights here, and based on other reviews, would think we stayed at a different place! First of all the good: it was extremely economical, clean, overlooking Buccoo Bay, and right across the street from an amazing new restaurant (The Deck-- HIGHLY recommend!).There are only 4 rooms, so I can see how it could be...

Needless to say, the reviews written so far are all accurate. I stayed at Seaside last December for few days with a couple other friends and we had a real sweet experience from start to finish. The host of the guesthouse (Sheldon) is known for his kind and personalized hospitality. He does everything he can to make the guests feel...

I stayed at the Seaside Garden for two nights with my family and I can thoroughly recommend it. Location at Bucco is central but not so much that you feel overcrowded by other hotels. There is a beautiful beach minutes from the guest house and when we were there, it seemed to be as yet undiscovered by the majority of...
