Each time I have stopped-over here, either alone or with friends, the service and welcome has been warm and helpful. The food delicious at dinner and generous servings, freshly made, for breakfast. Dogs welcomed and easily managed.
My wife and I went to visit Tennants in Leyburn and, on return, wanted a spot of lunch. We tried the Friar's Head (Akebar Park) but it ha da small notice, on the entrance, to say it was closed to accommodate a funeral wake !!!!!...More
