this pub has been closed for a few months, hope it will reopen soon, a real pity because it was becoming a great place for the locals, really sad to see something that was doing a good trade and great food close down, I miss real chips and a menu with three sizes for every meal!

Stayed here for two nights and the service was very friendly and the food so so good, generous servings and a great range of dishes- my sister still talks about the homemade dressing on her Caesar Salad. It is conveniently colse ot main roads by far enough away to feel quiet. My only issue is that the beds were very...

This little Gem still has a billiard table in the bar room, and there is a small intimate dining area out the back. We stayed overnight. The Hospitality was first class as was the food in the restaurant. The pub has retained its character with a lounge bar serving bar snacks and also a games room with bar billiards etc. The B& B accommodation is in an extension to the side and overlooks a small beer garden. The rooms are a decent size with...

We visited the Red Lion with friends. First we got a friendly welcome & they let us park our Harley's in the Beer garden. The rooms were very clean & the beds comfortable, a quirky extra was the family of rubber ducks in the bathroom! The highlight of our stay was the food. The restaurant had a variety of dishes...
