We stayed in Miner's Dry again. It remains a perfect hideaway for a couple, small but well appointed and pet friendly. Thanks to Rosie for being a great hostess, and for the cream tea and fresh eggs. Perfectly sited for the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor, close to Tavistock and the Cornish border. Walks from the door and being out in...

We recently stayed at Hele Farm over bank holiday weekend in May. It's in a great location, quiet with no street light pollution or passing cars but only 5 miles from Tabistock with some great restaurants and market. My husband and I stayed in the farm house (B&B) which was so comfortable, like a home away from home, with en...

We were passing thru on our way to Cornwall so a perfect stop over. Always a friendly welcoming, tea on arrival and a sumptuous breakfast in the morning. The tranquil peace and quiet of a traditional English working farm is the perfect tonic. Many thanks again to Rosemary for her hospitality.

I reluctantly am writing this review because I feel that if too many people know how fantastic this place is we may never be able to book again. We stayed for just 1 night whilst our son had an 18th birthday party at our house (I know brave or stupid) and I can honestly say that it was absolutely gorgeous...

Hele Farm offers both bed and breakfast and two one bedroom "self catering units". Further details can be found on their website (just search on the farm name). Rosemary, the owner is a fabulous hostess, and we appreciated the chance to experience certain aspects of a working dairy farm (especially seeing the calves fed; cute!) We also appreciated the cream...

Absolutely wonderful accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and lots of information available - even children's books, puzzles and games available. A perfect location for that quiet, off the beaten track retreat. We will definitely be returning

Stayed at Hele Farm for 3 nts. It is a working organic farm, which has been worked by generations of the same family for over 300 years. Rosemary the owner is a fantastic host. and nothing is too much trouble for her. Breakfast is wonderful and keeps you going until well after lunchtime. A must to see is Lydford Gorge...
