Delightful host. Superb accommodation. Excellent breakfast. Home baked biscuits delicious. If only Karen could work her charms on the English weather!!! Even the poor weather failed to dampen our appreciation of this charming B&B. highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed in the lovely Blue Room with the square bath - this room is full of character. It was freezing outside but lovely and warm inside. We had a lovely friendly welcome. This fantastic French country style boutique B&B is perfectly positioned between two great places - Bath & Wells. Breakfast is excellent and the atmosphere...

My husband, myself and my mother have recently returned from The Post House. We all cannot praise it highly enough. We had a long journey of 7 hours to arrive there but as soon as we walked in we immediately forgot about our journey. We were met by Karen, the owner, who was so friendly we immediately felt at home....

We stayed at The post House with friends for a long weekend. We loved the french style furnishings and the attention to detail was first class. Our room had the added bonus of an extra little room with comfy chairs and a TV. It meant that after a hard days sightseeing, our friends were able to join us for a...

Being welcomed to the Post House with freshly baked biscuits (still warm !) was a lovely surprise. Our host Karen (and Monty the dog) were incredibly...

The rooms are all decorated beautifully and the beds are comfortable. There are handmade biscuits and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. There are wine...

The Post House exceeded all our expectations - it's such a find. Great hostess, beautiful rooms and a breakfast second to none, we will definitely be returning! Icing on the cake was the incredible homemade cookies left in our room and Karen remembering my birthday and giving me a bottle of wine for the occasion! A truly memorable stay.

We had scouted around for a quiet place for a two day break after the crowds of the Olympics and, charmed by the look of the place booked into the Post House. I arrived from London by motorbike and was to collect my wife from Bristol Airport on the first evening. Karen got me settled in and suggested that I...

“If you don't mind low headroom the blue room is very cosy or there is a self contained sweet that is very spacious which can be self catering. But I would be happy with any room.”
