From the warm welcome we received on arrival, to the time we left, the staff showed incredible care and attention. Nothing was too much trouble for Vuyo who ensured we felt comfortable and at home in this tranquil Elephant House setting. We had booked for dinner, and this is something I would highly recommend. Each dish on the 3 course...

We received a warm welcome from the team at Elephant House. We arrived early due to our transportation but we were shown to a beautiful veranda and served coffee whilst we relaxed and waited for our room to become available. There are a number veranda's around the accommodation to sit, read, relax or do nothing at all. Or as the...

Clive Reed and his staff is out of this world. The food, serve and wines deserves 5 Stars. The rooms are exceptional. It truly feels like home away from home. I can strongly and with a good heart recommend The Elephant House.

We stayed here for 2 nights while touring Addo elephant reserve. We loved the quiet, old world feeling. Gracious old verandahs and lounges sheltered by creepers abound. It is easy to find a quiet area to cuddle up with a good book and glass of wine. Ill bring my tour group back here. The rooms in the main house are...

The Stable Cottage are absolutely beautiful. Huge, we had one family room with a separate linked bedroom/area for the children. Set around gorgeous lawns with their own pool, separate from the main Elephant House. Elephant House was just over the road and breakfast was lovely. Great game drive to see Elephant with the hotel, literally hundreds of them, right up...

This resort is perfect with excellant service. The best place to stay in SA so far. Not far from the NP Addo Elephant. 10 min drive. The lodges are big with a lot of privacy and a superb garden. The owner is doing his utmost to make you comfortable. Even our dirty car was cleaned by his gardner. The staff...

It is a little gem very close to Addo Park. I stayed in a suite in the main building but it offers cottages too. It is designed to details. It is cozy and peaceful. I decided to eat in a restaurant close by because the house offers only set menu for dinner. If you ask a cooked breakfast be prepare...

Excellent and lovely place, we stayed in the family cottage which was huge and had a lovely outdoor area. Only downfall was the swimming pool was across the road at the main hotel. People are very helpful and all lovely. The family cottage was very clean and water can be bought from the main hotel. It would have been nice...

Like being a guest in a gracious game lodge from decades ago. The spacious shaded outdoor lounge areas, interior shared spaces, and comfortable suites were the perfect complement to hours driving Addo Elephant Park. All with thatched roofs, thick stucco walls, broad couches/chairs, historic prints and photos. The staff is intuitive, helpful and gracious. Food is very good. Even a...
