We really enjoyed out 3 night stay. The welcome and the whole interaction with Rod and Magna was warm and enthusiastic, they were lovely hosts. The room was spacious, the outside shower was a great touch, especially after a long and hot day in the park. The bed was comfortable. Just be aware of lots of harmless bugs having a...

Wonderful accommodation in a beautiful and peaceful setting overlooking a valley full of citrus groves and stunning mountains as a backdrop. The staff were all lovely and the evening meal was amazing! Beautifully prepared African based dishes layed out on a wood fire inglenook fireplace, so good we did not feel the need to go elsewhere! Great wine selection too!...

We were visiting the Addo Elephant Park and this is the perfect place to stay; a few minutes drive from the park's main entrance, yet remote and tranquil. It's also a good base to explore other attractions in the region and there is plenty of expert advice and guidance offered for this. We stayed in one of the generous and...

A little gem! Our chalet was roomy, well decorated and had everything in it - aircon, hairdryer, umbrella, torch! We loved the outside shower. A very peaceful place to relax and enjoy the views. The food was excellent (my partner had large second helpings!) Magna and Rod are outstanding hosts - welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable hard working and simply LOVE what they...

Bushcabin 3 is about 300 footsteps away from your car so pack light. The best thing about the cabin is that it is secluded. You can get from your bed to the shower butnaked without anybody seeing it. What a freedom, and what a view! You can use the braai & there is a fridge to store your food. If...

We stayed in one of the bush cabins and a dung beetle room. Both were small but very cute, with the dung beetle room being a fun but very comfortable (and well stocked) novelty room. The outdoor shower and deck overlooking the citrus grove in the bush cabin were particularly nice! The location of the dung beetle is excellent, not...

Rod and Magda saved our holiday when our car broke down on the way from their lovely guest farm to the park. Rod is a guide extraordinaire- that kind of person who loves and lives for the bush and animals. Magda is a gracious host. We loved the chalets- well appointed, outdoor showers and beautiful views. Overall a wonderful time,...

Enjoyed our visit to the eastern cape and especially the hospitality shown by the family at Dung beetle guest farm. We had such a good time and were made to feel very welcome. Would not recommend the Dung Beelte chalet no.4 even for a couple as it was small and a long way to walk from the main lodge. Inside,...

We opted for a bush room which had a spectacular view and an outside shower and toilet. It was really fun to stay in. However, we were not informed that we could not dine at the lodge even if we paid an additional fee and could only do self catering. The managers were very gracious in offering us coffee and...

We really enjoyed our two nights at the Addo Dung Beetle Guest Farm. The hosts (Rod & Magna) were very nice and charming and helped us with all our questions. The bungalow (luxury chalet) was very lovely, clean, spacious and had a bathtub as well as an indoor and outdoor shower which we found very nice. Only downside was the...
