Arrived tired and late, met by Agnes, one of the proprietors, who was charming and helpful. She accommodated us in the annex, a basic double room with shared facilities, all perfectly clean and acceptable, with excellent shower. Room D had no window, but a glass door and a curtain, which, when one of us left the room, had to be...

Friendly owner, nice garden & surroundings. Unfortunately, the room was old which was reflected in battered interior and especially kitchen appliances - very disgusting to use a chopping board that smells like an old sock. Additionally, it was dirty - dead insects on the floor, heaps of dust all over the furniture made the stay feeling unwell. I think there...

....I think that's the correct term for a small, eclectic place. I understand this may appeal to some (I can't complain that it lacks character) but it's not to my taste. We stayed in a double room, which was very brightly and imaginately decorated. The room was TINY. There was a sectioned off sink area, a shower cubicle, and a...

Big surprise in the dunes of CARRAPATEIRA. This family will offer you a good clean room, an incredible breakfast full of freshness, and best of all, the feeling that it could be your house. If you are looking for trekking this is a mandatory stop. They are responsible for some kilometres of the beautiful ROTA VICENTINA.

The room was good (though the bed could have been harder) and clean. The place is still quite far from the beach, but very close to the town center - actually the distance from the beach offers some nice walks at night. The owner is kind and caring about his customers. The most memorable part of our stay was the...

Smallish, family run bed and breakfast. Characterful rooms - quirky in a good way. Fantastic continental breakfast - loads of regional meats and cheeses, home made yoghurt and jams. Very friendly owners and staff.

We stayed for 1 night while biking to Sagres. Warm family and staff that run this place that make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. (Eduardo, one of the owners, is a lovely person who really cares about the area and the environment. Every spring, he and other folks from the community pick up the trash that inevitability...

This was our second time at the Pensao das Dunas, returning for another surf break after 5 years. I'd like to say it was as good as last time - but it was better. The Pensao is cool, friendly, clean and funky with all the things you need for a great surfing break. By that I mean a good room...
