Nicely appointed room if a little stark. Spa good but not particularly special. Restaurant staff wouldn't give us a table till 10pm (not good as am flying out at 7am and needed an early dinner). Front desk unwilling to find us an alternative until heavily pressed. Bar staff etiquette out of the window - ignored us and served others first.... More

I was here for a business trip. There is nothing bad I can say about the hotel. Rooms are nice, free fitness and swimming pool. Breakfast, lunch, dinner are well organized. Nice presentation, friendly waiters. Terrace is great with nice weather with an idyllic view on the small harbour. Definately got my recommendation.

I stayed for two nights on a business trip. The room was facing inner roof courtyard with no privacy unless you close the shutters and have no daylight as a result ...and no views, with trash outside the window. It was a very small room with twin beds, not good value for 200 eur per room per night. Nice shampoos... More

An excellent hotel for a family. You can use the facilities as much as you need, or be totally independent. There is no pressure either way. Service is efficient and unobtrusive. Very good breakfast and excellent Spa.

We stayed here in Room 3321 for one night on our way to Sandefjord. The price for the room was £180. It was a very small room with a lovely view of the rocks and the sea. There was no hanging space apart from 2 coat hangers behind the door. No information of any kind in English. very small thin... More

Great location facing the Oslo fjord and 10 minutes walk from the small Son village. You need to have a suite to get a balcony with a view , this is necessary if you stay here. However, their suites are rather expensive. Good breakfast. Suggest you walk to a restaurant in Son instead of dinner at the hotel.

We booked a standard room at the equivalent of USD 200 B&B and were given a small and relatively spartan room with almost no view at all. A shame for a hotel with such a good location by the fjord. Certainly never going back as there are several better places by the Oslo fjord.

This was our second visit. We came here in December for a weekend getaway and enjoyed it so much, we wanted to return during summer time. Beautiful ocean view from the front suite, even from the bedroom, with fantastic view of the late summer sunset. Worth the extra cost for me. Good location, calm and relaxing. We were happy with... We had such a wonderful time at Son Spa. It is about 45-60 minutes drive from Oslo, and is very close to Son town which is such a cute little town. The hotel was very inviting and the staff in the reception was wonderful. The view from the outdoor area is so wonderful. We had a very relaxing weekend. The... More
