To be fair it is hard to judge the value of a 'Bog Standard' motel room. A plus was its proximity to the pub next door and the amenities there provided. The room was a little dour but functional. It really would be a stretch to read anything into the title 'Lakeview' however!! The wifi was just okay outside the room standing in the cold.

We stayed here to be handy to Jamberoo Action Park, which is close. The woman staff member who checked us in was most helpful. We planned to eat at the hotel bistro, however due to my lack of homework it doesn't operate on Mondays, despite being told otherwise on check-in. However, within 30 mins of check-in we received a knock on the door advising that there was no on-site dining available on Mondays. We were then told to head to the nearby Central Hotel (owned by our accommodating venue) where we would enjoy a meal, which was great.

Great location, motel rooms are basic but clean and relatively quiet. Not 5 star accommodation but clean and comfortable. The attached hotel has amazing $15 meals which made it so easy for a quick cheap business trip. Quick easy and comfortable

Recently stayed here with my son and nephew, shower had mould on the walls, bathroom sink was stained and horrible looking. In the main area floors looked liked they had barely been vacuumed and under the beds we found a lighter and a pair of socks which didn’t belong to any of us, while looking under the bed for a missing shoe I noticed a large amount of food crumbs and was obvious it hadn’t been vacuumed for a long period. The room absolutely stunk as soon as we walked in not sure if it was stale urine, bad BO from previous people or smelly feet. The windows and boards above beds were covered in dust/mud

Stayed 1 night whilst visiting friends from Sydney. Was easy to book, good price and they responded quickly when I emailed them to request feather free bedding. Checked in easily and 30 mins early which was appreciated. Was allocated room 10 which looked and smelt like it had recently been renovated. Nice soft carpet and furnishings. Comfortable beds and a great night sleep. Great shower with perfect pressure. Couldn’t get the Smeg coffee machine to work but no bother as instant coffee also supplied. Key left in room for checkout ease. Would definitely stay again!

Check in at the reception desk in the hotel which was quick and directions to the room were given. Staff were friendly and courteous. The room though needed some attention. Shower door was lose and leaked, the wardrobe door was off its tracks, the exhaust fan was clogged, front door was shabby and paint peeling. The bed it self was comfortable enough and there plenty of extra pillows and blankets.. though the blankets appeared dirty. The room had the basics.. mini fridge, Microwave and hair dryer. Short walk from the bus stop (caught the bus from Oak Flats railway station).

Surpassed expectations! Stayed overnight with our two adult children and 86yr old mum. Were delighted by the comfortable beds, neat and clean rooms, quiet accommodation and friendly staff. The bistro was welcoming, whether we were playing cards and chatting or eating and drinking. Enjoyed a game of pool too. Will definitely stay again when we need a stopover.

Needed a room for a one night stopover in the Shellharbour area. Not much to look at from the outside, but the rooms are clean, tidy and pleasant. Situated near a working pub so noise from rowdy patrons is possible.

Layover visit, clean, felt like we were in a newer section of the morel. Had crockery, cutlery and microwave, very useful. Parking directly in front. I liked that the bedroom was towards the back of room and bathroom towards front. Very quiet, however next doors AC was quite loud it did keep me up. Having said that I would return. Staff at checkin was friendly and efficient. Shopping centre close by for brekky next day.

Great sized room with all standard amenities (microwave, iron, hair dryer, mini fridge). Huge shower and HOT water. Room was quite clean. Supplied a porta-cot on request.
Bathroom a little dated but only cosmetic. Lots of parking available. Very close to petrol station and shopping centre.
