We booked a two room family suite. It was an amazing place to stay. The breakfast was wonderful; fresh baked goods, good coffee. The hotel does not serve lunch or dinner but they have this amazing outdoor kitchen right by the pool. You can bring food and/or cook meals there and eat by the pool. They also have laundry facilities...

My friends and I stayed at this enchanting former hunting lodge, which has been renovated to be a very comfortable lodging. The rooms were each decorated differently, I stayed in the Blue Chamber which had a queen bed, dresser, closet and small sitting area, looking at the beautiful view. The bathroom was quite roomy for France, with the excellent touch...

My husband, friends, and I loved staying at this chateau. The location was great -- quiet and with beautiful grounds, but within 10 minutes of Ambroise and its sites and many restaurants. Our rooms were huge with lots of places to put things and we enjoyed the pool with its comfortable loungers and large table. One of the things we...

This was the most Fabulous of places I stayed while in France this Summer. We stayed in the Orangerie - which is a cottage off the Chateau with 2 Very Large Bedrooms and a kitchen and den area. Although, they didn't have items for cooking things like casseroles (They should really stock this place properly since it does have a...

We loved our stay. Our room was huge and very comfortable and the breakfast was great. We took our bikes and did some excellent cycling around the area. This chateau is a great option for staying just outside Amboise and exploring the area. We walked into Amboise for dinner one night which was really nice to be able to do...

This was a disappointing stay. We had in 2015 stayed twice at Chateau des Arpentis however standards have slipped. The manager on previous visits has moved on and the management is now carried out by the owners son and daughter who appear to have very little experience and on two occasions we had problems had no idea how to react,...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I was sick the entire time. the room was too hot despite cool outside temps- we had to leave the window open one night to cool it down. there is no air conditioning (a detail I overlooked)- or at least none in our room. the breakfast was awful and definitely...

Breathtaking when you drive through the long entrance road. The Chateau is beautifully maintained both inside and outside; the expansive plush green grounds are magnificent. We were greeted by one of owner's family members who made us feel right at home - while all the while we were overwhelmed with our luck at finding this place. We chose the Mae-Rose...

First week end at Chateau des Arpentis. Not deceived ! Beautiful stay in this nice little castle, smartly renovated. The room was very comfortable and nicely designed. The looks aren't very typical but you won't forget you're in a castle though. Exclusive and calm. Discreetly situated. No noise at night, apart from the frogs and birds of course. Wifi, TV,...

Wonderful property close to Ambois. We had difficulty finding it as the navigation system on our car didn't recognize the address. But so worth the effort once you arrive. We stayed for 2 nights and our room was in the tower portion of the building. It was very quiet and quite large with views of the back portion of the...
