I loved this place. It was perfect. The property is tucked away down a small, wooded area and is excellently maintained with an outdoor pool, vast terrace and lawn, small pond, and wide, green pasture for horses. The castle itself has been beautifully restored and renovated and maintains an aristocratic, countryside feel. The exterior of the castle has a royal...

Arriving as night fell, the view up the tree-lined driveway was of a fairytale castle. Chateau des Arpentis is this and more. The glorious lounge area was very relaxing and I imagine with a burning fire in winter would be even more so inviting. We had a lovely road pink toile de jouy suite in one of towers which was...

The chateaux is beautiful, surrounded by woods with horses and deer in the gardens. The rooms were large and the bathrooms great (especially the magnetic shower head, very clever). The furniture was a little old and worn and the floor in the bathroom was un-tiled. On the other hand, the downstairs' billiard room, furnished with cards and games for kids,...

One of the highlights of our trip to France. Stayed for 3 nights in late August. The chateau was very nice and beautiful, and the manager Quinton was very gracious, professional and helpful. An oasis to relax, but also centrally located to the great château of the Loire Valley. Would recommend very highly.

We travelled by car to France last Summer with three children. Its hard trying to find accommodation for a family of five and so the annex building here really appealed. The photos on the website looked lovely and we were not disappointed. My three children loved the 4-poster beds with curtains and night lights. Gorgeous furnishings and bathrooms. So peaceful...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully restored and furnished chateau. It is in a forest setting several minutes drive outside the Loire River town of Amboise. We found it a little tricky to find the Chateau on our car GPS, but a google search and maps soon had us in the right place. The Chateau welcome was very...

Wonderful place, gorgeous rooms and a warm welcome. This hotel is in a superb location with wonderful grounds, lovely views. It's close to many interesting local places, including lots that will be of interest to families. Quentin was always helpful and gave us good advice about places to visit. When we discovered a tiny leak in our first bedroom, he...

Spent 3 nights in this amazing chateau. Very clean. So beautiful. A beautiful view of a medow from the large window. We took Chambre rose - which was quite modern and yet kept the elegance of the old century. An antic bath tub next to a modern shower. The chateau itself was truly an amazing walk in the past. As...

We selected the Amboise area because of its central location. We selected Chateau des Arpentis because of its highly rated Trip Advisor reviews. Why go to chateau country and not stay in a chateau? Unless you don't have a car, we didn't see ary reason to stay in the actual town itself. The Chateau is a few miles outside the...

As I write, we are staying at the Chateau des Arpentis for two days. Everything is extremely comfortable and the Chateau is well restored. Beds are comfortable, and the room has all the amenities that one would wish, in an atmosphere of a country chateau. The Chateau is not large, barely ten bedrooms, each with a different name. Breakfast is...
