Stayed in one of the chalets for a night as on way to Frejus tunnel. Found hotel easily and booked in no problem. Chalet was pretty basic but just what we needed. Village short walk away, supermarket and bars. Stocked up and spent pleasant evening on the chalet's decking watching sun go down over Alps. Quiet place, mattress acceptable. No...

We stopped here for a cycling holiday. The hotel is clean but had a dated interior. The rooms are small and there are no coffee or tea making facilities. You get a stand alone air con unit, which was a great asset when it came to drying our wet kit after it rained. The hotel wifi is good in most...

Room: can hear neighbor's and smell their smoking. one light in bathroom out so you cannot see in shower, shower leaks all over floor, no wifi service that stays on or is easy to log on to. TV did not work. Breakfast a joke and 8 euros a person. Coffee in large canister and cold, milk ran out and woman...

Was here for 4 days in December 2015, for skiing. If you are traveling for the same reason and want to stay in this hotel (which is much cheaper than most places located at ski resorts), better have a car - then you can easily access Orelle and then use the cable car to 3 Valleys; also one can go...

Stayed at this hotel with the intention of climbing col du telegraphe and galibier. The location was perfect. You're a five minute walk from the town. The staff are friendly, very little English but very helpful. The hotel is very clean and the rooms were cosy perfect for two guys on a cycling trip. They have secure storage for your...

The hotel is basic - room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice though. we used it as one night stop during a touring holiday of France. It's a good place if you are exploring the Alps.

Beautiful location, staff were friendly. The first cabin we were given the fridge didn't work and was full of water that had flooded the floor. The bedroom smelled of cigarette smoke. It took 2 more tries to find a cabin with a working fridge. This cabin was much better it smelled cleaner. The stove only had one knob that I...

This B&B hotel really knows how to look after cyclists, motorcyclists and has a campsite for campervans and tents. We had a lovely big room, and there was a place to lock up bikes and motorbikes. Breakfast was one of the best (continental obviously), and the location for attempts to cycle the nearby Cols du Télégraphe, Galibier, Lauteret etc. could...

I am writing this review as a cycling fan. From this viewpoint, Le Marintan is simply the perfect. The location at the foot of the Télégraph/Galibier is ideal. Breakfast was very nice and diner (served in a nearby pizzeria) was certainly “rich” enough to compensate for all the efforts during the day. There is a locker for your bike. The...

Chose Le Marintan for a overnight stop while going through Savoie and the cols due to its fantastic location right next to Telegraph, Mount Cenis etc. and was pleasantly surprised. For under 50€ got a spacious and clean room and the bathroom wasn't a closet either. Service was friendly and offered the garage for use straight away and it was...

“Choose one at the back if you are susceptible to trains or the odd lorry - not too close. We had a room at the front and at ground level, but found it OK. It would be very peaceful at the back.”
