I usually stay in Hotel Nota Bene during my business trips to Montceau Les Mines. It is a nice hotel, food is great, small bar and renewed rooms are perfect. Outdoor teras during summer is a good place to chill with a nice wine.

We stayed one night whilst cycling EuroVelo6. The room was great (very funky) with a lovely bathroom. The staff were excellent and we were able to store our bikes in the garage. The gym has a massage chair which is amazing - just what the doctor ordered after a day on the bikes. Breakfast was superb!

Unusual decor, bathroom very nice with a sink that was more of a water feature, breakfasts are a tad on the expensive side. The restaurant, is for non residents as well and is also a tad expensive but the portions are huge, husband and I could only manage to share a Pizza. Location is good, hotel is alongside canal. The...

In town from the states for a wedding we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Staff very nice on checking in. Our room had been recently remodeled and was very nice. Very up to date bath, wide screen tv, and comfy bed. Breakfast was also good. Need a one nighter this is a good one.

We went on a business trip in the winter and the rooms were so cold. It felt as if we were staying at a third class hostel. The hotel had a nice little restaurant .But since i do not eat frogs it did not appel to me. Iordered steak but it came uncooked,,

Our room was huge and packed with clever gadgets. The room was actually 2 bedrooms. Each had a double bed. The larger room was great. A lampshade the shape of an enormous Sophia Loren hat. A quality music system and good internet access. Modern but restful. Newspaper articles on the walls. Really interesting decor. Breakfast was very good and dinner...

If our room was of a 'privilege' standard, I wouldn't like to see the underprivileged. It certainly looked nothing like the pictures they have and was your average motel room, which in itself was of a below par decorative state. Friendly staff, but anyone thinking of using this place for anything more than a stopover will be sorely disappointed, if...

We stayed in this hotel just as a one night stopover. A bit mixed feelings - good service, clean and reasonable room, but very strange decor (attempt for modern, but the result is a bit gloomy) and unpleasant rough plastic floor in the room. A big plus for restaurant, there was quite tasty meal there. Parking free beneath the hotel....

Stayed in this hotel for one night as part of a cycling trip. The hotel has decent rooms but without nice views. We were able to park the bikes in the garage which is very good service. The restaurant and breakfast were very good and the staff very friendly. Not a hotel to go out of the way for but...
