Welcoming staff, clean room with large, sparkling shower room. The dinner menu was a bit limited so we ate out. Breakfast was generous and buffet style. Well located for our hike to the cable car station down the hill.

Gemütlich und freundlich ... I don’t know of a way to express the ambience as well as you can in German.

The location is fantastic, go out the back door and you’re on the lift, go out the front and you’re in the middle of the village.

The staff (family) are all very welcoming and the food is nice as well.

Abetone is not a ski destination per se, but there is enough terrain to keep you occupied for a few days...a definite recommend.

I spent two days with my family at Hotel Bellavista (literally: beautiful view). The Hotel is right in the center of the Tuscany's most famous sky resort, Abetone, and has a nice view on the surrounding mountains.
The hotel services are worth the money, as well as food, breakfast and dinner.
I would suggest it for a family getaways

This place is the best in Abetone. Don't know why but things are very expensive in Abetone and the only hotel that is worth staying at is this one. The Hotel Granduca is an expensive dump with a great location.

Our family stayed between Christmas and New Years in two rooms both with lofts and we loved the hotel! The kids were welcome, they have a great living room for all the guests with a bar and board games, and puzzles. We felt welcomed and taken care of every minute of our stay. The food was also fantastic, and we looked forward to when they posted the dinner menu to choose from each day. We will definitely go back!

A great hotel with excellent views of Mount Abetone and its skiing slopes. Rooms are extremely spacious and clean. Common areas are very wide with good heating. We stayed on half board basis where we were served delicious food with very polite service. The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful. They even helped us put on the snow chains on our car tyres!! Thumbs up. Will definitely recommend Bellavista Hotel!! Thanks

Hotel located in a lovely villa on a hill in the center of town very near the slopes. Owners and staff are professionals in hospitality, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed but smart, with a warm and inviting reception and hall area with tables, games, TV, a bar, aperitifs, etc. The food is very good, and the starter buffet at dinner is excellent. Cleanliness was excellent.

We will most certainly go back.

Excellent for glutenfree needs:
- glutenfree bread and pasta: no problem!
- excellent anti-pasti buffet
- excellent pasta (glutenfree al dente!)

- room: ok, but rather small and dark (even though there's a window), bad isolation of window, but ok.
- bathroom: good and clean, soap etc. provided

- skiroom: excellent! Table for ski tuning & multiplug to plug your iron/edging machine

- excellent: they adapt the breakfast time to the needs of ski racers (.e.g. 6h in the morning). We really appreciated this!

The Bellavista was perfect for a mid-week family stay. Family rooms can often be too small, especially with 2 tall teenagers in tow but our quadruple room had a huge king size bed, then 2 singles up on a mezzanine level... which was perfect. Breakfast was simple but good & there's a nice bar and lounge area. In the daytime it gives a great view with comfortable chairs and in the evening, lots of families sat around playing cards. The only down side being that the 200m walk to and from the nursery slopes with your ski's is tiring.

Well positioned with easy walk to lifts ( not much snow so couldn't ski to the lifts). Room for 3 consisted of double bed and 2 single beds on a mezzanine. Spotless, staff just lovely. Dinner amazingly good value. Free parking on site. Highly recommended.
