Had been borrowing adapters from all other hotels, but this is the only hotel that actually asked for an initial deposit of 500 TWD, which is an ridiculous amount of deposit for an adapter. (City Inn hotel only asked for a 100 TWD compensation only if the adapter is destroyed/lost/not returned on the day of check out) But this is... More

Read some different reviews about this hotel. We enjoyed our stay here, room (302) was clean and confortable. English speaking staff was present. Breakfast is across the street, dont expect a 'western' breakfast. You can book a sunrise tour. Unfortunately the morning we went was cloudy so we didnt see the sunrise.

Pretty decent hotel to stay in around Alishan forested area. Friendly staff with comfortable room. It's just a staircase away from the bus station and 7-11. I would choose this hotel again should I visit the area for a second time.

The hotel is decent if you're a frequent budget traveller. There are some spots that the cleaners may have missed. Bed is soft and bouncy. Breakfast is provided at a nearby restaurant and they serve traditional Chinese food, which is pretty delicious. I'd say it's decent for a one night stay on a mountain. There are a few convenient stores... More

Alishan has limited hotel options ... Especially near to the railway station in case you are catching the sunrise ... Be sure to book early as rooms run out very quickly. Nice hotel staff and reasonable spacious room. The breakfast is not really great ... Suggest u have ur breakfast at the nearby 7-11 instead

Hotels at Alishan are located at the same area, high stairs between hotel and central area. I got the room on 2nd floor, staff help me to lift up my luggage to the room, so kind. I love the electric-warm bed. Free breakfast is at the restaurant at the central area.

The hotel is one staircase away from the centre where there is 7-11, several restaurants, souvenir shops, bus stop and train station. There is no lift though so if you have heavy luggages it is advisable to ask for 2nd floor. Room is outdated but generally clean and working. Both myself and another family friend who stayed in another room... More

I loved staying at this hotel despite some bad reviews here. Rooms are clean, staff so super friendly and great location! We arrived at the hotel early and naturally the rooms were not ready. We stored my backpacks at reception and the staff took time to explain all the attractions and trains Alishan has to offer. They gave wonderful and... More

It's my first time to visit Alishan in weekend, so there are not much room available and most of them is very expensive. Da Fong Hotel was my last choice and never expect it too much. Room quite small and a little bit old but comfortable. Location is very near the bus stop and the sightseeing train staion, just steps... More
