This hotel is pretty far from everything but the staff will really try to make your stay comfortable. This part of Taipei is not as glamorous as Daan but this place has some amazing religious displays and fireworks festivals. Rooms are bit small and dated. Bed is too soft, but shampoos and soaps are apparently Italian made. They come in...

I stayed at this hotel for 4 weeks. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the subway. Hotel is far from all attractions. I really struggled to find restaurants and services that spoke English. I checked out early and stayed in Taipei and was glad i did so. Also, my room often smelled like sewage. I actually went out...

I stayed at the Landmark Inn for five weeks while teaching at Fu Jen Catholic University, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating to foreign travelers. The front desk staff were happy to help in any way they could. For example, when I asked for food recommendations,...

Stayed for 3 weeks at the hotel and loved it. The rooms are large and clean. The staff make the hotel! The front desk staff go above and beyond with helping book things, recommendations, and customer service. Good location you can walk to XinZhuang station (yellow line) or take the 99 bus to Xinpu station (blue line). You can access...

I've stayed here a few times, the hotel isn't particularly central to Taipei, (it's about 20 mins by cab, 35 mins by metro, and 30 mins by bicycle), but that means its cheaper. It benefits from being directly opposite the Xinzhuang sports park, which has swimming, running and leisure facilities, and is 15 mins walk from Xinzhuang metro stop. The...

During my five nights in Taiwan I stayed at the Landmark Inn in New Taipei City. It was recommended to me when I went online asking for a decent place as close as possible to Xinzhuang Stadium where I was going to be spending most of my time watching the World Baseball Classic qualifying tournament. Rooms are from between $80...

Hotel is located about 4 kms from HSR station and in the main junction makes it convenient to stay. But unless you have the full address in Chinese, it will be difficult to reach by taxi. I've been coming here for years, and I always feel like it's a home away from home. A very courteous staff, and the rooms are always clean and tidy. they could go for some new rugs, but otherwise, a great value, and next to the largest park in Taipei.

Modern rooms and a great team of staff made our trip to Taiwan a success. If you want a more cultural experience away from Taipei main, this is the place to be. Simon and his staff made all our airport arrangements, dinner suggestions, taxi transport and even get togethers with friends simple. They speak and understand English well and pride...

While the rooms are small, they make great use of space, including a pivoting flat-screen TV in the middle of the room that turns 360 degrees (facing the sofa on one side; facing the bed on the other). There is a kitchenette, bar fridge, and a fancy ventilation system in the washroom that allows you to dry clothing overnight (very...

“Only about 6 of the rooms have windows, and those tend to be booked almost all the time, so get in early if you want one of those, but I've found the windowless rooms perfectly comfortable, though its very easy to over-sleep.”
