Room was spotless, park was quite, clean and so friendly. Owners helpful with what to see and do.... Park completely packed out so incredibly popular. Recommend anyone who wants to get away and enjoy this wonderful part of New Zealand right up in the Kaipara Coast. Heaps to visit with the Kauri Museum down the road along with the Gumdiggers...

10th March 2017. Booked to stay two nights with our 6m motorhome on a powered site, rained heavy all night but it did not matter with sea views, hard ground, clean ablutions and great price. Great place to launch from and enjoy surrounds. Did not stay second night instead choosing to try other sights. Thank you for our stay.

We stayed here 2 nights...intending originally to only stay one. Vanessa and Francis have a wonderful little campground here- clean and quiet and welcoming. Very close to the Kauri museum. I recommend you check it out

An enjoyable overnight in a clean, cosy and well appointed two bedroom unit. Just one issue - while we accept lawns need mowing, we were very disappointed to have the noise of the mower and the raucous screaming of the weedeater from 3:00 to 6:30pm right near our unit. Our happy hour on the outside picnic tables was fraught with...

We stayed here so we could visit the Kauri Museum. It is a delightfuly situated park with a friendly proprietor, well landscaped grounds on the Kaipara Harbour. Our unit was spacious, very clean well appointed and with a comfortable bed.

Spent from Wednesday till Sunday at the Park .... heaven away from home. The Cabin was warm, clean and inviting. We were invited to see the new born lambs and calves along with the other farm animals. Had a walk through the property down to the water and the entire weekend was so relaxing. Thank you Vanessa and Francis for...

The owners/managers were very hospitable and friendly. Attention and thought were given to smallest details in family room with games, toys and magazines; to the kitchen with pots, pans, towels, sauces/spices and the laundry room with ironing board, iron, basket and pegs. Site is within walking distance from Kauri Museum and Cafe. We would definitely recommend to others and visit...

We stayed one night before going to the Kauri Museum. Clean tidy and friendly - welcoming community kitchen and nice views. Small friendly quiet place to camp. Kids playground on site. This is not a hotel but they do have cabins.

Stayed in unit 1 with wife and four daughters for a couple of nights. Unit clean tidy and well maintained. Playground for children and also access to adjacent school swimming pool. Highlight was the owner and her son who were friendly and helpful and nothing was to much trouble for them. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.
