From Petite Provence we had a bautifull view over the hills and over the sea. It is so quiet that only birds are heard. Hospitality is warm. Rooms are clean and the food is good. Very recomended to stay.

Guy and Linda are the most friendly hosts we've come across in a long time. They enjoy a chat and love to tell you all about the surroundings and their own experiences. Their place is cozy, clean and homely. It's a hidden gem! I would recommend it to all.

We stayed here for the first two nights of our New Zealand trip. Our only problem was, that due to the late arrival of our plane in Auckland, we hit peak hour traffic and consequently arrived here in the dark. It can be a little difficult as the signage is not very prominent. Linda and Guy were there to welcome... More

Thank you for writing a great review and we enjoyed your company. Home cooking is often appreciated after many days of cafe/restaurant food and I have to admit I do spend a lot of time in my kitchen. Being rural and allowed only limited road signage, we send a detailed map with precise directions to all guests prior to their... More

As we arrived, Guy waved from the garden, and Linda appeared on the wide front porch, all smiles. We were tired from a long drive followed by two hours at the Kauri Museum, and ready to just park the car and be pampered. Our hosts obliged us perfectly, presenting us with freshly baked cake and tea, and escorting us to... More

We stayed for one night and had a smallish room with an equally cramped bathroom comprising a toilet, shower and basin. The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the room was in need of a deep clean to get rid of spiders and webs. We provided our own evening meal and did not try the cold platter. The property is... More

What an idyllic setting! Perched on the top of a hill with the most fantastic views all around. So quiet and peaceful. The room was very comfortable with a wrap around balcony to the property so that everyone can sit outside. We were given a very warm welcome by Linda and Guy, a lovely and interesting couple. ..........Linda and Guy are so hospitable and their home has such a pretty, secluded setting. Do not expect welcome baskets, cooked breakfasts or a grand house. We relaxed and enjoyed the experience of being in a super place so far from home. Guy from Provence, met Linda , a Tonganese/Scottish New Zealander, in a youth hostel in Alice Springs (Australia).... Linda and Guy made a beautiful setting all the more special. We were made to feel very welcome in their lovely home. Spacious en suite accommodation with stunning views. We took advantage of the supper platter, delicious, as was the continental breakfast the next morning.
